Just had the 218th vote, which is what they need to psas th ebill
Judd Gregg is not running for reelection in NH either — just put up a list of all seats that are up. That NY Senate seat is up as well.
He has a point. THAT country would have never elected these people in the first place. They would have been hospitalized in mental wards or swilling Ripple out of a paper bag on Skid Row.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
Was there a reason to vote yes for Cao so that he had the standing to move for a reconsideration of the vote?
I have heard that if you vote no, you cannot ask for it to be reconsidered. If he waited until he knoew his vote did not matter, was he ddoing this as a strategic move?
Did Jindal ask him to do this for that purpose?
Yes. Defeatism and oh-no-ism just sucks the energy out of the fight.
Giving up when there is still breath left in the body is cowardice.
OK, one day to vent, one day to whine...Then it’s back to work on Monday and we will get rid of every single one of these traitors. We need to keep our spirits up...we will prevail..WE HAVE TO...we owe it to ever man and woman who has given their lives for this country.
My proctologist is . . . . It’s too easy.
Here’s the vote again for those who missed it at #327.

Vote in the Senate is unlikely before January as Reid and two others don’t have it on paper yet. They threw out the Baucus bill because Baucus refused to put in a public option.
Dr. Coburn is planning to read every page of the bill with help. In fact, the Dems are already attacking his plan by calling him Dr. No which is a badge here in Oklahoma.
WTF?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
*** THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!
And you believe her?
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
I hope you are right.
I am a nurse, my husband an ortho surgeon.
If this bill passes, we will both have to face patients who will need procedures done, but will get denied.
At the same time, face endless amounts of government red tape. We will be working at slave wages.
Who needs this?
We could keep Austin as a sort of 'commie-natural preserve'...
You’re wrong, we are faced with a disciplined Leninist party whose principle is democratic centralism and they will have the votes. They also know that even if we gain control of the house (which I doubt as the 2010 elections will be fixed) the president will veto any attempt at reversal. They can afford to allow some blue dogs vote against it but party discipline prevails. We are being played like violins by the left and taken for fools. The illusion of democracy with useless votes is before us to give us all false hope. That will prevent any violent reaction. We are being cooked like a lobster in low heat. Democracy died a long time ago and it started under RINO presidents who started on the path by making their socialist programs seem more palatable in comparison. By next year we will sell ourselves to the UN and the US as we have known it will cease to exist..

Me too, such despondent drama queens all over this thread....sheesh, its almost like DU after Bush was re-elected. And dollars to doughnuts DUrs are gleefully observing all this.
