The House tries to pass Obamacare in a big hurry, breaking how many Constitutional rules/regulations??

I know! Unfortunately my idea of historic and their idea of historic is just not the same thing.
Davis (R): Tens of thousand came to Washington this week to demand we keep the government out of their health care.
Repeat often. ;-)

You know good and darn well I’ve been here for a time. I do have a sarcastic streak with tried and true FReepers. Sorry for the mix-up. God Bless :^)
I’d also be interested in your definition of “neo-conservative” please.
He should change it to “inconnu.” Actually, Sarkozy-era France may be too tough for that to be appropriate.
Oh, I didn’t mistake you for a newbie. I just didn’t get the sarcasm. God Bless.
The blue dogs will not bite
My account of what went on at the rally: The crowd was close to 2,000 and would have been of respectable size even on Thursday 11/5. Excellent speeches by Representatives Michelle Bachman, Steve King, Virginia Foxx and others and, as on Thursday, we were well behaved and orderly. Folks standing near me debated several leftwingers who support Obama healthcare, and, although the arguments were spirited, the lefties had no need to fear for their personal safety from our much larger group.
A comic touch by Rep. King—At the end of the rally, he and another gentleman unfurled a paper roll containing all of roughly 2,000 pages of the bill. The roll could be thought of as a giant roll of toilet paper and could have served a similar purpose.
I decided to leave rather than go into the House visitors’ gallery. At the capitol south subway station, several Lyndon Larouche supporters were passing out literature condemning Obama in general and this proposal in particular. I commented that we at least agreed on that.

The good looking ones invariably are.
Is it true that this bill requires Americans to purchase government approved insurance only?
Is this true?!
No offense, but that’s like being stunned to find Amy Winehouse is on drugs.
Can you define “neo-conservative?” From my experience that word has about as many meanings as the number of people using it.
I know . . . but still . . . it takes my breath away.
Does this bill replace Medicaid or is it in addition to it?
The new cousin in our midst called me “specious”, I took for granted that you witnessed the entire thread.
You are right, Kerry did claim that McCain wanted on his ticket, and even went as far as to say that McCain had either been approached about it, or was about to..
I don’t know but thats where its headed.
Anybody a member of a Medi-Share program? I think those are going to be done away with by this bill.
As I understand it this is true because you will be forced under penalty of $250,000 fine and five years jail time to buy some sort of health insurance and all health insurance policies will have to meet minimum government mandated services, essentially making all health insurance policies the "government" option.
