I'm a huge Beck fan, in fact I'm listening right now here
http://www.ksfa860.com/common/gap_streamer.php
but something really confuses me. It takes the ability to use real critical thinking to know what Beck (and most of us know about the state of the country and where we are heading). That is, we have the ability to discover the truth no matter how much the media or conventional wisdom try to hide it. Yet on Mormonism, Beck is cleary wrong. Any Christian knows that the book or momonism is severely flawed and that Joseph Smith was no prophet. How can Beck cut through all the chaff of what is going on in our world and come to the truth and yet believe the writings of Joseph Smith? It doesn't make sense? I'm not saying he's up to something secret, not by any means, it's just that he's so right about so many things and completely wrong on the most important thing. Now, he just said on the air that he believes Jesus is the Savior of the world and that he is Mormon.
I also think that because he is Mormon he is not attacked near as much if he was a Evangelical Bible only believer. Anyway, am I nutz or does Beck being a Mormon seem bizarre?
How many times is this drivel gonna be posted?
Which part is the ‘drivel’?
The consistent reposting of an article NUMEROUS times.
OH, Smith's revelation from God announcing polygamy as an everlasting principle that all men who aspire to be exalted to Godhood must enter into.
Please, spare us the faulty prophetic.
If our leadership and our beliefs are evil then we must also be evil in your eyes.
Not surprising, since mormons link their personal status to that of the lds church.
Reposting the same article is a no-no on FR.
Tell the mods about the duplicates and one will disappear.
So the CONTENT of it is ok then.
actually, the LDS are losing members a lot faster than they are gaining. But considering SLC doesn’t give exact numbers on it, and many don’t bother to have their name removed, it is hard to get an accurate count.
OTOH, all one has to do is go to an evangelical church in SLC or Provo and see how many Ex-mormons fill those pews.
You mean this part of D&C 132 where it says they must abide by polygamy or be damned?
Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you my servant Joseph, that inasmuch as you have inquired of my hand to know and understand wherein I, the Lord, justified my servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as also Moses, David and Solomon, my servants, as touching the principle and doctrine of their having many awives and bconcubines
2 Behold, and lo, I am the Lord thy God, and will answer thee as touching this matter.
3 Therefore, aprepare thy heart to receive and bobey the instructions which I am about to give unto you; for all those who have this law revealed unto them must obey the same.
4 For behold, I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting acovenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye bdamned; for no one can creject this covenant and be permitted to enter into my glory. *D&C 132*
Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow veterans...
“Do you recall that Jesus said,”
Do you recall that Jesus said, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you. Matt:5:44-48.
The Saviour said,; an evil tree cannot bring forth good fruit. Love is what The Gospel is all about, I suggest you spend your time loving others.
My intent is not to impress anyone. The attempt is to show that we too try to serve the Lord by helping others. We are victims of people like you who cannot find any good in anything Mormon.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Mormons have managed to “impress” me by “bashing” me for more than 40 years, starting with that “missionary” who destroyed my property and ordered mny boss to fire me just because a friend of mine was nice and invited her to our Christian church...
Up to that time the mormon had worked thare about two weeks and had only been haunty and over-bearing and spoke down to everyone...and considered herself an expert in the Bible...(Lots of “Do you recalls” etc)...but much of what she said didnt make a lick of sense nor was it in my Bible...
I’d never had the misfortune to meet up with a mormon before, and I didnt know why she was abusive to me so I just prayed and asked God for help...
After an extremely miserable six weeks of some of the nastiest, sneakiest behavior from a co-worker, the mormon left in a huff..seems my boss had repeated refused to fire me...and refused to cease her so xalled “apostate” (read Christian)ways...
My boss then called me in and asked me what had been going on..she had wondered why I had not come and told her about the abuse I had suffered at the hands of the mormon.....it seems the mormon had been proselityzing heavily to my Christian boss and told her she was an apostate and the member of an abomination etc...
My boss explained to me about mormonism and showed me the propaganda the mormon had forced onto her...warned me not to get mixed up with their cult...
So that was my introduction to mormonism, but I was used to cults thinking they “owned” us...there was one that my father had to throw down the front steps to get rid of him when I was about 10...my boss told me that the mormons were much the same in beliefs as that cult..
Now here you are, a mormon, a god in embryo, perfection incarnate...
With the open forum to preach in...microphone and all...
But for some reason unknown to me (weeeeeeelllll) you thought your 19 year old mormon “missionary” self should come over to my house in the middle of the night and leave something under the mat on my private doorstep (AKA FReepmail)...
Here it is...Posted on the Bulletin board of the Village Green where it belongs. Feel free to take it home with you...
BTW I dont care if that guy’s name is Munster or Monster...Do you recall that Jesus said to preach the Gospel to him not necessary spell his name right...
BTW the mormons misuse the name of Jesus Christ, Himself...

Its Monson not Munson. It seems that most of the venom you spew is just as accurate.

Now about all those so called “good works” that the mormons do...
He converted to Mormonism because he wanted to have sex with the woman who was to become his wife.
How many times does this have to be posted?
