President Barack Obama said Friday that he is honored to win the Nobel Peace Prize and will accept it as a “call to action.”
Appearing in the Rose Garden Friday, Mr. Obama acknowledged he was “both surprised and deeply humbled” to win the award. In a surprise pick, the Norwegian Nobel Committee cited the president’s creation of a “new climate in international politics” and his work on nuclear disarmament.
Mr. Obama said he doesn’t view the award “as a recognition of my own accomplishments,” but rather as a recognition of goals he has set for the U.S. and the world. Mr. Obama said, “I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many transformative figures that have been honored by this prize.”

Obama’s speeches in Europe in which he has apologized for America’s strength has gotten him a lot of friends; yes, all those countries who are jealous of the United States but certainly hide behind us for protection when the need arises. With only a bit over 8 months in office; Obama has done more to harm our way of life then anyone ever thought possible. Ironically he has the likes of Reid and Pelosi and the Franken’s of this world who support him since it enhances their personal positions. I should probably had stated that most of the Democrats support Obama so they can maintain their offices and this morning the news said that Senator Snow from Maine might vote with the Democrats on this health care reform bill that is going to cost all of us who have worked our entire lives to ensure our security in later life, while providing everything for those who have never worked and have no intentions of ever working plus as explained by constitutional lawyers; the health bill will even cover illegal’s who go in for service. The Representative from Carolina who cried out “you lie”; during the Obama speech has now been proven to be telling the truth and Obama was lying.
One more thing I want to add. Obama says that he has no objection to the TAliban having a say in the government in Afghanistan. Anyone who believes that the TAliban will cooperate to bring a better life to the people of that country is smoking some funny weeds. Take a look back to how the TAliban ran Afghanistan before we ran them out. Public executions of women and men; schools closed and women forbidden to go to school or to be seen in public without being fully covered. Men having to wear beards and the religious police delving into every aspect of every day life. Allowing these people back into the running of the country will eventually lead to their taking over the country since they will intimidate everyone and with Obama’s usport; will do it legally. Unbelievable.
If all of this continues I would guess that all of us who speak openly about this crazy stuff will end up being visited by a representative of the communications czar and chastised or worse. This is no longer the United States that I grew up in and whose open society was a beacon of hope and integrity for the world. We are becoming just like the rest of the world with the government deciding how things are to be. Our Bill of Rights is being attacked; our freedom’s are being curtailed in a negative way and we find the ACLU and some Democratic office holders attempting to repeal parts of the Patriotic Act that were initiated to allow our law enforcement people to keep track of those who want to harm our country. It is pretty obvious who these bad guys are and where they are from and what religion they follow; a religion that teaches it is a Muslim’s responsibility to convert everyone to that religion; and by the sword if necessary.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING TO OUR WAY OF LIFE. WAKE UP TROOPERS; IT IS SLIPPING AWAY.
