Human Evolution Celebration Exposed
CEH ^ | September 24, 2009

Sept 24, 2009 — The evolutionary story of human origins is often told like a cultural myth that is intuitively obvious. Humans emerged in Africa after their ancestors came down from the trees and walked upright. They began to hunt with stone tools and used fire. They migrated north out of Africa and populated Europe, overtaking the Neanderthals who lacked the brain power and culture of their more evolved cousins. How much of this story is based on actual evidence? How much is interpolation of what “must” have happened based on an evolutionary view of natural history?

As part of its celebration of the Darwin Bicentennial, PNAS invited a special series of papers on human evolution, called Out of Africa: Modern Human Origins. A careful reading of these papers reveals more gap than knowledge, more bluffing than evidence...

If people believe in evolution, then they also believe that God doesn’t exist. I suppose you are left with a confused atheist. Never mind. I’ll never understand people like that or who they “think”.

You claim to understand them well enough to be making public pronouncements about what they believe.

Oh, I know what they “believe”. I simply can’t rationalize how their attempt to “think”. I also don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy, if you get my drift ... . I can’t explain who adults who should know better believe in that or even Obama. I don’t waste my time being THEIR apologist.

In other words, you feel justified in mischaraterizing their beliefs becauase they are not your beliefs.

Truth is often ridiculed, however I don't waste my time throwing pearls before swine.

I do the same with Obama supporters. I make my statement that is truth and if they still want to believe, so be it.

Don't blame me that evolutionists start with the premise there is no God.

Oh, I know, I'm not supposed to say that because it hurts the feelings of those that love the prominent evolutionists and WANT to believe ALL they say because they FEEL inadequate to uncover the truth for themselves.

Here, this should make you feel better:

The God Delusion (Paperback)
by Richard Dawkins

http://www.amazon.com/God-Delusion-Richard-Dawkins/dp/0618918248/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1253895037&sr=1-2-spell

Dawkins is on the same way length as Karl Marx:

“Religion is the opium for the masses.”

Marx and Dawkins have much in common .... ooops I don't want to upset your world ... . I suppose Hitler is also right ... if you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it. Funny thing about TRUTH, it DOES NOT CHANGE. There is no “evolving” of truth. It's always there for those that wish to see it.

Either/Or Fallacy

False Dilemma
It's too bad you also don't know how to apply logic properly. Perhaps a good book on critical thinking and critical reasoning would help. I'm so sorry that you don't SEE how you misapply secular logic. You'll have to do your own searches for appropriate books on that topic. In any event, have a nice day.

Narrowly defined creationism offends God.
Why? Because it reduces Him to the role of a junkyard tinkerer. It is a known fact that we share “parts” not only with animals, but even with bacteria.
I prefer to fully appreciate God’s creation of the laws of physics that eventually led to the emergence of humans.

"The real argument that YEC types will not address is whether God would have created and then used a process such as evolution to bring life and man into a dynamic universe."

Why would God use a 'process' based on logical fallacy to 'bring life and man into a dynamic universe'?

"To reject this possibility is to deny that God created the science, mathematics and laws that govern the universe."

Fallacy of the false dilemma noted.

You nailed it. Now if we can just get the rest of America to realize where all this evo-atheist liberalism is leading.

"Why would God use a 'process'"

What ever means God used was by definition a process. The real question is whether we accept the abracadabra process (Yes, it is a real word of Aramaic origin with foundations in biblical theology) or a more detailed process involving the physics God gave us the intellect to observe and understand.

The 64 thousand dollar question is whether the "abracadabra process" is really a the more scientific process accelerated to a rate that you are not able to parse and comprehend. In that case we are both right.

How do you explain the linguistic and genetic evidence that man did come out of Africa and populated the world?
The distribution of alleles shows that North America was populated from Northern Asia. How about the linguistic tree?

God fooling us again?
God has better things to do.

Or are you afraid that "Adam and Eve" were actually Africans?

"Man came from monkeys" straight out of Satan's mouth and leads to that Satanic form of government, Communism.

Right, and even if they could produce, say a dog who had been mutated to the extent that it could constitute a new species, then they have to answer the question: “How would this ‘new’ species perpetuate itself?”

Obviously, if the mutations were not contained in the reproductive cells, then this “new” non-dog could still breed with regular dogs, and would produce a perfectly normal dog, not a member of the new species. If the mutations did occur in the reproductive cells, the animal would not be able to breed with any dogs and the new species would die along with it.

The only possible way the evolutionists can overcome this obstacle, that I can fathom, is if by some miraculous confluence, all of the exact same genetic mutations were passed down to at least one male and one female offspring, and by another miraculous confluence, this male and female of the “new species” were located near enough to each other geographically that they would find each other and mate, and by a third miraculous confluence, the resulting offspring were able to survive long enough to establish this new species securely in the biosphere. Oh, and these extremely improbable events would have to repeat themselves at least 10’s of thousands of times, for every instance of speciation postulated for sexually-reproducing animals.

Keep in mind, all of these improbabilities must be piled on top of the preceding mountain of improbabilities that would have to be surmounted in order for “random genetic mutations” to accumulate to the point of producing a chain of beneficial (or at least neutral) adaptations that would lead to the production of the member of this “new” species in the first place. All of which the Darwinists believe as an act of faith, since these events are not observable, replicable, or falsifiable.

You don't understand much, do you? Some Christians believe in strict predestination, others in free will. Reasonable people can disagree, but only a fool would call believers in free will to be atheists. Similarly, only a fool would argue that God not micromanaging speciation necessarily indicates that there isn't a God.

You are mixing the science those people support with their personal beliefs. I’m sure if you nailed them down on their scientific beliefs, they would be forced to admit that the theory of evolution is a product of naturalistic science, which begins with the premise that science cannot account for, postulate, or attribute phenomena to supernatural causes. Therefore saying that you believe God created evolution is essentially saying that you believe God created a process described by a theory that does not admit the possibility that God created it.

Do me a favor, read a little about Mendel's (a priest, by the way) laws of inheritance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mendelian_inheritance More generally: No offense intended, but there is certain ignorance with respect to science on our side of the political spectrum. This allows the Left, for example, to peddle all the garbage about global warming. All kinds of crap, which should make a scientist cringe, are presented to the public with impunity, in part because we allow them to do this...
