Mark Levin expressed his disgust with Glenn Beck's fascination with Ron Paul and comments about McCain on with Katie Couric (audio at the jump).

It is entirely intentional.
Right before the ‘06 election we were infested with posters like these whose apparent only aim and function was to disrupt, malign, create division and distraction. And of course to loudly proclaim that they were sitting out the election as “good conservatives” that wouldn’t deign to vote for a not-so-conservative McCain.
It worked too. Let’s not let them succeed THIS time, eh? Our very lives are at stake.
Is Beck for open borders? I would be surprised.
Who thinks McCain is within the Conservative movement?
Uh oh... looks like Levin is taking a page out of weiner nation's playbook.
um, chill. This is an argument, not a blood bath. If you don’t like the back and forth, just say so.
Yes, it is necessary. The liberal MSM are trying to elevate Beck to the status of leader of the conservative movement. Mark has to point out that Beck is far from a good representative of conservatives. If we don’t reject Beck on theses grounds, we are accepting him. Mark and like-minded conservatives cannot sit on their hands. We demand the conservative movement to be a Reagan conservative movement.
You get the gist yet not the reasoning behind it; never mind.
Exactly. We may have been sliding slowly towards socialism under ‘get along’ McCain. But at least we wouldn’t have been driven at warp-speed into communism abyss that we have now.
On the other hand, that next revolution thing would have probably been postponed for a decade. That might not have been a good thing, now that I think of it.
Mark pointed out where Beck is right, and he pointed out where he is wrong.
Mark Levin has earned my respect and trust through the years - before he became a talk show host, and since that time. I don’t have to agree with him on everything, although I do more often than not, to know that his core conservative beliefs are in agreement with my own.
Although I think Beck has done a marvelous job of reporting on the Obama administration lately, and I think that should be encouraged and aided, I don’t have the same sense of certainty that I have about Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh that Glenn Beck shares my core beliefs about conservatism.
The facts and reasoning Mark has mentioned are examples of why I have some reservations. I’ve been disappointed by a sufficient number of public figures to be a bit more cautious now.
Men with the intelligence, character, and background of Mark Levin do not say the things he has said for petty reasons, as some on this site have charged. Mark’s instincts have been honed through years of experience. He is a patriot to the core. I believe that is his motivation for speaking about this.
Why? Is someone you know planning on killing Beck?
Amen, and its only been 8 months. What horrors lie ahead?
Didn’t Beck just go ballistic over ACORN and the connections with the Obama administration? Please. Disingenuous may be the word.
I like it. What’s your problem?
Oh, please. I just don’t agree with your opinion of the reasoning behind it. But, nevermind. oy.
Bump
All I can say is that conservatives who would abandon Beck now—with all he’s done to help expose corruption in the Obama administration—are utter morons. What self-destructive pettiness. Beck is doing the bang-up job that even the conservative journalists and talk radio hosts won’t do.
Yeah. Sometimes in the search of targets we forget to aim.
Yeah. Sometimes in the search of targets we forget to aim.
I haven’t heard him being elevated to conservative leader. Reject Beck? Why? He carried the water on the ACORN scandal, not we have to reject him? That’s not sensible.
