Please post your updates from D.C. and from news reports here as well as your photos of the day.
Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.
Photos and video taken by This Ain'tHell taken in daylight before the bulk of the crowd showed can be viewed here.
Free Republic 9/11 Candlelight Vigil from Washington DC
I was thinking that earlier, only for every one in DC...a thousand at home.
Extremely busy thread and lots of graphics but FR shows no signs of running slowly. Bravo to the guys behind the curtain.
Mark my words, like Howard in the movie, Glen Back is headed for a crack-up. I don’t want it, but the signs are there. He really can’t control himself.
Good job patriotgal!!!
"I'D RATHER BE WATERBOARDED THAN HAVE OBAMACARE!!"

I love your name.... We call our canine pack, Bubba and his Bubbettes. It’s an honor to meet a FR Bubbette.

Exactly.
Our Henry Ford health system here in Detroit has charts for paying cash.
As impressive as this DC Rally is, I am really bummed that I missed the roadside whistlestop in NE Tx on I~30.
It was at a rest stop in Mt Vernon and from what I hear it tied up the road.
Just some folks speaking from a pickup truck bed with a megaphone.
God Bless America!
[Okay ... Ive just fallen in love with Pence!]
LOL.
Hopefully he’ll take another vacation soon.
I don’t know why- but I’m becoming obssessed with an accurate count of this protest.
It’s going to be important down the line to have a reasonable estimate.
I’m finding all kinds of figures- anywhere from 60,000-2,000,000 and everything in between.
Here’s Rick Moran’s post on it:

I need that for my new tag line
WOW! Brings tears of JOY to see such an amazing event!!!
I would guess it might be replayed on CSpan, but I’m not sure. It’s great and very inspiring to watch!
(Did I meet you at the capitol a few years ago?)
I’ve got MAJOR mixed feelings about Mike Pence (and, for the same reason, FreedomWorks)
