WASHINGTON - An environmental adviser for President Barack Obama, Van Jones, has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.
Van Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs," has been linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.........."

Hardly 100%, montag813. Every little bit helps of course, but to try and credit this forum for Van Jones resignation is kaka. Many other forums and blogs have been educating folks about Van Jones and Glenn Beck, and Fox News in general, have been airing the truth about this wacko commie. How do I know this? Because I read a lot, and I stay informed through a variety of sources.

The government doesn’t need anyone “putting people back to work”. If they want people to work the method is clear and has worked well in the past. Cut taxes, cut spending. Eliminate Corporate Income taxes(personal also). This will give the companies the confidence to start hiring, the stock market will go back up, and not in some false rally such as we seen of late. This will take time, the damage to our economy is already heavy. The federal reserve should be dumped also, we don’t need a repeat of the housing BS that started this mess. No more loans to people who can’t afford it. All this can be done with minimal government interference and without a specially appointed person to “get people back to work”. Get the EPA out of our lives, pass a few common sense enviro laws and quit placing every animal, bird and fish on the endangered species list. Turn the water back on in CA, do you realize how many jobs have been lost just by that one act alone, not to mention higher food costs and, eventually, food shortages.
Oh, that was good. I really like that one.

Agree! I think the fact he is a communist and was and is working to change our society is much worse than being on a petition that is just looney- i think this is why they told him to get out now so they can cover up his radical background and throw him out under a “9/11 Truther”
And they do it after midnight on a Saturday night....how predictable. Nobody on the Sunday yak-fests will comment because they “don’t have all the facts.”

Search around: I can’t find anything but “Green jobs” and organizing for “green jobs”
What were his ideas?

Glenn Beck is a true patriot. He got results. He motivated us and a whole lot of others. Let them ignore him and mock him in the press and on the alphabets and other lame cable channels, we watch and sponsors will come back or now ones will sign on.
