Palin should support this opinion (not ADOPT it as her own yet, but she will still get credit)

The old 'don't ask us to fight for you now, we'll lay down like the wimps we are, and fix it later. Honest. Trust us. Oh, and we are frugal now too.'

Yeah. Right.

This should be plank #1 of the Republican’s 2012 platform. It gives the Democrats an ‘out’ to abandon it now-i.e., if it’s going to cost the party an election and get repealed anyway, what’s the point?

I want to see Snowe, Collins, Graham, Voinivich, McCain, and the other usual RINO suspects sign on to this pledge!

I think this is a good strategy. The reason the Dems wrote it so that it doesn’t go into effect until 2013 is that they know they’ll be collecting their pensions by then and won’t have to face the music. Make this threat and force them to move the effective date to 2011. That way more of them will get weak knees.

How about reversing everything Obama?
- Stop spending “stimulus” money
- Audit the Fed
- Sell all government stakes in car companies
- Reverse whatever part of ObamaCare passes
- Demand that all actions taken by “czars” be voted on or ruled unconstitutional.

All Congressmen and Senators elected over Democrats in 2010 should promise to black all the socialism they can.

Then in 2012 if people elect us a majority and a Republican President, they can promise to reverse as much of the Obama damage and unfunded spending as possible.

THEY SHOULD PROMISE to remove unions from government.
They are a monopoly there. In the private sector they fail and take companies with them, now they are in the government and taking the country down with them.
Why the he!! should they be allowed to get the highest pay and benefits when the PRIVATE sector gets about 40% of that and flips the bill or the public jobs.

Has to be all reversed IMO.

Why doesn’t the OP make that promise now?

Why wait till 2012!?!

If Obamacare passes, nobody will sign a bill repealing it before 2012. But I agree, we need to take the fight to them from now until 2012. Even if we make great gains next year, no letting up (on *either* party).

So the premise is that it's going to pass then, right?

Why can't the GOP just kill this thing now?

I HATE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY

He’d get my vote, although we may be in the midst of a civil war if the dim-bulb-crats pull off even a portion of what they’re proposing.

We’ve had enough of this cr*p. We’re not going to take it any more.

Gutless Old Party at it again, I see.

Instead of fighting for what’s right when there’s a fight going on, they tell us, “Put us in charge and we’ll fix everything that we let get broken.”

No wonder 69% of the Republican base thinks GOP officeholders are out of touch.

I’d like to see him take it a few steps further. I’d like to see Obama tried for treason and other high crimes.

That’s what a Constitutional Amendment is for - to prevent a subsequent Congress from repealing the legislation.

Of course, there’s always the “leftist amendment process” - activist judges.

The put the date of activation later so they could collect taxes first and make it look less costly, another big lie.

No not at all. This is worst case scenario, if the Dims pass reform via reconciliation, which would be political suicide for them next year. Guarenteed to happen? No. A possibility? Yes. Why hate the GOP? Last time I checked the Dims control the House, Senate & White House, and the GOP is firmly opposed to this thing. What else can they do?
