The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).
Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.
At the other end of the spectrum, today’s total for Strongly Disapprove matches the highest level yet recorded. The 41% mark was reached just once before and that came one week ago today. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans now Strongly Disapprove along with 49% of those not affiliated with either major party.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter and Facebook.
Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

When times turn ugly, people are reminded that the Democrats cannot be counted upon to protect them from bad ugliness.

Oh they MAY BE in denial, but the question they need to axe themselves is “Why do they feel the need to poll their guy in the first place?” Unless of course they know the wheels are coming off. Look, 38% disapproval rating among Obamas choir members.
Interestingly, this big shift happened in the month when “no one pays attention to politics”.
It also seems that more of the shift comes from loss of support than rise in opposition.
There is NOTHING Moral or Honest or Patriotic about this Pile of Nothingness! There is NO HISTORY or PAST Records available about OBOZO! NONE! Why and WHO demands that their OWN PAST be completely ZEROED OUT?

The "strong disapproves" are likely to voice their disapproval, and have reasons they can articulate. The "strong approves" are likely to try to stop conversations of disapproval about Obama, by having screaming fits until people just decide to avoid the topic to keep the peace.
There are now going to be more conversations where the strong disapprovers will be able to talk without being screamed at. We may be close to the tipping point.

Curiously, in all the discussions on cable, I’ve never heard exactly what this ‘nuclear option’ actually is...
Could this option be taken literally? A nuke exploding in some city certainly would be a ‘crisis’ which would rally most behind Hussein and all his bills would pass.
We might need a few of those tanks and tank retrievers to do the job again... here.
