The Sacramento Police Department says that Christopher Guzman went to Garcia Bend Park on Monday night, believing that he was meeting up with a 14-year-old girl he had met on a social networking website.
"This would've been the first physical contact between the suspect and the victim," said Sacramento Police Department Sgt. Norm Leong.
As Guzman waited in his car, police say five or six of the girl's family members walked up and began attacking him and his vehicle. Guzman tried to drive away, but the family members chased him, forced him out of his car and held him for police, who arrested Guzman but did not detain the relatives.
"[Guzman] was bloody from that," Sgt. Leong said. "We'll review it and see if what they did was reasonable given the circumstances in that they were trying to detain him."
Police said that Guzman was planning to videotape the young girl in a sex act.

Grinning, ear-to-ear.
Given the corruption and ineffectiveness of our commie-infiltrated legal system, this is a good approach to resolving society’s problems. Guaranteed to work better than whatever ‘disincentives’ are currently built into the system.
What the family members did was wrong. I hope the prosecutor takes a good long look at the file before he accidentally misplaces it.
Yep - remember that. Great movie.
Sly Stallone is supposedly going to re-make Death Wish. If it’s anywhere as good as the last Rambo, it should make for good entertainment.
Now THAT is how the police force used to work, and we truly were better off for it. Keep the laws simple, and enforce them with enthusiasm.
Of course now that we are fettered by innumerable laws, we would be beaten for non-compliance with seat belt or recycling laws, if police were allowed this much leeway.
“We’ll review it and see if what they did was reasonable given the circumstances in that they were trying to detain him.”
*wink wink*
The only problem is that the perp will still continue to do his thing. They aren’t curable and need to be locked up.
This will just delay the proceedings against him.
Trying real hard to give a damn here about that poor misunderstood creature that was attacked by that family of savages...
Trying...
still trying...
wait! Oh...
Almost had it for a nanosecond...
Nope...looks like I just can’t.
Really?! Are you serious?!
There was a time in America when a man didn’t dishonor a young lady for fear of the consequences he’d face with her father and brothers.
If a few more families took action like this, we’d have fewer perverts meeting young girls in the park with dishonorable intentions.
This wasn’t vigilante justice. It was a family protecting one of their own. And GOOD for them!
Dude, try reading that post again!
Hmmmm.... wonder how we can get this family to attend some town hall meetings? :)
My favorite scene in Death Wish is when Bronson is outside the hospital with his sissy son-in-law after visiting his comatose daughter. Charlie says something like “What do you call a man who does nothing when somebody comes into his home and violates his family?” and the son-in-law says “c..Civilized” in his best liberal whimper. Bronson shoots him this glance that says “I can’t believe I let my kid marry this wuss” and walks away.
Dude resisted.
Good!
Ahh, good old fashioned justice. Pretty light sentence though. They must be liberals...
“computer virus, I got hacked, going to warn her about doing this, IT’S NOT MY FAULT”
