On Tuesday, MSNBCs Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.
Not only did Brewer, Ratigan, and Toure fail to point out the fact that the gun-toting protester that sparked the discussion was black, but the video footage shown of that protester was so edited, that it was impossible to see that he was black.
Yea, he said he has ammo in the backpack. It wasn’t loaded.
Not quite: All guns are presumed loaded until cleared.
I swear they’re trying to start a race war....maybe it’s all about ratings....not enough mass blood and gore for this shallow media...create the news!
Shameful.
The front page of the Arizona Republic today shows two pictures of the protesters. There is one showing the pro-Oblahma crowd, and it looks like at least several hundred folks, wide angle, etc. The one showing the anti-Oblahma is shot from a low angle, and is basically a closeup of a woman, with a few signs behind her.
Thanks for the link. It’s good to read the inside story from the people who were there. Glad to hear he was on our side and there were others with him. They alerted law enforcement that they would be at the protest armed... They behaved very responsibly, contrary to what is being reported.
There was a video posted on, I think HotAir (I’m checking now), that showed this individual in the ranks of the SEIU/ACORN crowd shouting “health reform now”. On the CNN capture, Campbell Brown also lied by saying “he said he was against health reform”.
I cannot find the second vid now. It is worth a watch if you can find it.
The guy was either:
1. Really a Second Amendment advocate and standing for us and then later seen mocking the left by chanting with them.
2. A plant from the left to scare the sheeple, inflame the left, and give the propagandists further fuel to urge more “gun control” thus stifling free speech. or
3. A second Amendment supporter who also agrees that the country needs “health reform now”!
I’ll get back with the link if someone hasn’t already done so while I peck my way across the keyboard.
He was definitely a “Brooks Brother”.
Yeah, I’ve known some extreme left-wingers who were extremely pro-2nd amendment.
What a great country.
