Absolutely and what is more complicated is the other government bodies linked to it but not necessarily part of it.
They all have different rules.
There are ways of getting round things that you find over the years one is seeing a specialist/consultant privately and then him putting you up the list under the NHS for further treatment, he conveniently forgets the first appointment was private.
The worse thing I think is though if you are being treated and you know a different form of treatment would be better but if it not authorised by NICE you cannot have it and if you pay for it then you would have to pay for the rest of your treatment for this condition.
This is similar in the UK women under a certain age can retire at 60, those of my age it is 65 the same as men and I think it has either been passed or is in the works that 67 will be the age for even younger people and in fact it is muted that probably in the next 10 - 20 years it will go up to 70.
Denise Graves, power player of the week. Beuatiful voice. I’ll never forget her singing the Lord’s Prayer at the Prayer service after 9/11.
On to Meet the Press, Dashle’s on. Arrrggghhh.
David Gregory trying to show similarities between the protestor’s “tone” to Timothy McVeigh’s ???!!!!! Dude!
I also expect a return of gas lines and high winter fuel prices. And a real spike in interest rates for home mortgages.
Let's get that Misery Index up and running!
The spelling and abbreviations seem to me very similar to the old telex shortenings but some of the symbols and emotions are beyond me.
Off I go to mass. I will check in this afternoon. Nice seeing all of you!
The rug muncher is out of her league.
Bull.
Our food did that last year but seems to have settled a bit more now. Partly I think some of the bigger supermarkets did this in panic and partly the cynic in me thinks in agreement with other stores and now take turns with so called special offers where prices revert to the old price for a couple of weeks.
new talking point from Democrats (via Chuck Todd and other pundits)
What is “IT”?
it means there is NOTHING out there.
The WH only cares about the bill comming out of the Senate finance committee.
The senate fiance committee is where the WH bill is located. THAT is where the campaign contributions and the pharma deal will become manifested.
Nexus between "duty to die" and significantly increasing the death tax????
No need to put the tinfoil on. Plainly obvious that the Democrats are looking for an easy out in our coming Entitlement bankruptcy.
In 2017 we will have more users of, then payers into, Social Security. IF something is not done an ever larger portion of the Federal budget will be consumed by Soc Security Cost of Living adjustments.
Hard to keep buying elections year after year, as the Democrats do, if more and more of the annual budget is being gobbled up by mandatory Entitlement spending.
So in order to keep spending like rabid Marxists, the Democrat leadership has to find a way to cut way back on the portion of the Fed budget being gobbled up by their existing spending promises. So it is entirely logical to assume that the Death Panels in the Health Care bill are an attempt by the Democrat Leadership to get rid of those inconvenient old people they promised 75 years ago to take care of for ever and ever and ever
Good to see you - miss your daily comments - hope all goes well at church and look forward to you checking back later.
Your post captures exactly why I (and so many others) don’t want a government run plan here.
I cannot imagine a health care system with the same efficiency as our Department of Motor Works. They are also heartless, and God help you if you lose your cool and bless one of them out!
Thanks Rodguy, there is such a target rich environment w/this bill.
Pray for America
Once done you will never be able to reverse it due to the industries and bodies that will grow from it and the thousands employed by it.
Howie Kurtz panel Palin-bashers all.
The token conservative, trying to say something conservative, said when discussing the Palin face-book posting “while irresponsible (and another negative word that I forget right now)...”
Good grief! The DC mantra is that Palin is a kook and talks irresponsibly.
This pundit, Amy somebody, must work in an echo chamber of beltway bigots.
Great to hear re: MTP, thanks.
Grandma is dead and we are screwed, bad scenario.Thank God we have Sarah in the background. Maybe the world will discover the Joker wasn’t even born here and he will get kicked out early.(Where are all the Joker tee/shirts when you need them?)
I can’t believe she has made it to MTP.
That shows how far NBC/MSLSD/CNBC have fallen.
