It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

Just when I began to wonder about it, up came your post. I noted two Charles Bomfords in the Canadian census for 1911, but the record did not give Charles Alaric. A young man when drowned, I expect the infant Bomford was called such, to remember their drowned relative.

Where the entire subject of constitutional eligibility slides into a gray zone, is over the definition of the phrase "natural born citizen".
People who want to view this issue through a lawyer's lens come down on the side that Obama is natural born, simply on the strength of his alleged COLB. They insist that because his mother was an American citizen, then Obama is too, and that he is thus "qualified" to be our President.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Although the Framers didn't include a glossary with the US Constitution, they spoke and wrote at length about what they considered a natural born citizen to be, and why it was important for our Chief Executive to be a natural born citizen. The concept is clearly spelled out in their utterances on the matter.
The question we have before us now, is, does Barack Obama meet the Framer's standard for being a natural born citizen?
I posit that he does not, by the most basic facts of his birth. He was clearly born to parents of two different countries. The Framers created the natural born citizen description precisely to avoid ever allowing someone like him to ever assume the office of President.
We can continue to look at this issue through the lawyer's lens, and allow this man to continue as Chief Executive, noting all the time what damage he is (predictably) doing to our republic - or we can look to the thoughts of the Framers for guidance. Their guidance on this issue is clear, and calls to us across more than two centuries of history, loud and clear.
Barack Obama is not qualified to be our President, and should be removed before he causes everlasting damage to our country.

Courts always want the shortest chain of custody of evidence. I seriously doubt that in some hypothetical case a judge would order Obama to go to Hawaii, get a COLB, and present it to the court. Either Obama orders it from Hawaii to be sent directly to the court, or the court skips Obama entirely and orders it direct from Hawaii.
Impeaching the physical document itself would be completely futile. You need to impeach the information asserted on the document. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a birther but I have been telling the birthers for a long time how they might actually succeed instead of chasing the will o’ the wisp. For instance:
You can impeach the COLB by demonstrating that the information on COLB’s does not necessarily match the information on the primary document. Birthers have been arguing that foreign born persons have COLB’s that give place of birth as Hawaii, while the primary document states elsewhere. Bringing forth one such person would create SOME doubt. (Maybe it’s just a bureaucratic glitch.) Bringing forth two is a stronger doubt. Ten people, and I think any court would conclude that COLB’s are not reliable and the primary document must be examined. But so far, even with all the recent hullabaloo about the birthers, not one such person has been brought forward.
Another line of attack would be to impeach the information on Obama’s COLB. There are many possibilities. One is that international airlines make out passenger manifests. How long do they keep them? Dunno. But apparently neither does any birther. An August 9, 1961 BOAC passenger manifest for a flight from Nairobi to Cairo with the names “Mr. & Mrs. Barack Obama & infant” would powerfully impeach Obama’s COLB. Most of the birthers have the subtlety of a belligerent drunk, so I’ll suggest how to start:
Phone call to British Airways (successors to BOAC): “Hello, British Airways? I’m researching the history of international air travel. Could you direct me to your archivist? Gee, thanks!”
“Hello, BOAC archivist? I’m researching the history of international air travel. Could I make an appointment to view the archives? Gee, thanks!”
That phone call could be worth more than the millions of birther thread comments that have been posted on FreeRepublic.

Is there some independent verification, such as a different South Australian "Copy of Registration of Birth"? Someone had posted that the one everyone has copies of was only posted after the "Orly" Kenya version was put up, and then was promptly removed supposedly because the site was getting overloaded.
Doesn't have to be that. Just a conflict between what is shown on a certified copy of the Long Form "Certificate of Live Birth", or even on a known legitimate "Certification of Live Birth". Then we've got document fraud. Even if the only difference is that the real BC shows father's race as "Negro", but I doubt that would be the only difference.
Too late to do anything besides stop further lasting damage. He's already caused plenty of that.
Absent definitive verification of the original documents, both BCs could be considered suspect.
However, I think that at this point the preponderance of the evidence points to a conclusion that the Bomford BC was used as a template to forge the “Republic of Kenya” BC.
IIRC Candid camera pretty much got eviscerated by lawsuits.
I can only recall one, having nothing at all to do with being duped by a false premise or embarrassed on TV. The plaintiff was physically injured during an episode in 2001. IIRC, he won a settlement at trial, eventually settling for about 100,00 dollars to avoid retrial.

You seriously think at this late date and after he has spent close to a million dollars defending these lawsuits and getting them thrown out of court, that any of that sort of information hasn’t long been gotten rid of? he’s backed by Soros and the Federal Reserve. They didn’t come this far and this close to trying to take over this country, only to lose it all on some information they missed.
