It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

I don't recall whether I read or heard of transcriptions of recordings of Obama talking with Odinga, anticipating the civil unrest they were planning should Odinga lose the elections. The unrest worked - Obama is a shrewd and ruthless politician - forcing the winner, Kibaki, to share power with Odinga, making Odinga prime minister.
The Reuters videos of Obama campigning in Kenya with Odinga were on European television last fall. A document which Odinga never denyed signing was published revealing an agreement Odinga had made, while consulting with Barack, with radical Muslims to “re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Sharia as the only true law” within six months of his winning the election. Sound familiar?
Hillary Clinton met with Odinga and Kibaki yesterday.

There are people who will lie about anything and everything as long as it suits their needs. You’ll find them at all levels of society.
As for Obama and this BC thing currently no law requires him to prove his citizenship status. And nothing reasonable or credible points to anything other than him being born in Hawaii.
So at best there is the potential for argument that a child born on American soil to an American mother and resident alien father might not be a ‘Natural Born Citizen’ under the US Constitution. Hardly an argument that will appeal to the hearts and minds of America.
There were even purported emails from 0bamination in his Senate office to the fiend in Kenya. Total no-no.

I thought she asked for the court to assist in determining if the document she had an image of was genuine or not. It is not so much a question of having believed.
We have all seen the bunper sticker "somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot". Hmmm. Now who'd you think that referred to?

This does not disprove anything, but if the document image Orly had is of a fake, we did our best to find evidence verifying or disproving it, and did not blindly accept it here on Free Republic.Obama has still not provided any of the documentation so freely available on other candidates, and has yet to prove his Natural Born Citizen status.
That remains unchanged, no matter how many fakes are thrown our way, and if anything, this will make us even more cautious of fakes.
He will not be removed from office.
Not now, not ever.

We will never know the topics discussed in Kenya, but the brouhaha over the birth certificate can't be ignored. Forget about the forensics, if there was a binder corresponding to numbering in the photo much debated and hacked, it seems unlikely that it will remain. Israel may be able to resist our brown shirts while they find trustworthy partners, but Kenya simply hasn't the resouces.

Did Taitz use the photo supplied by the seller? Or did she take the photo herself? If she took it herself, this would indicate a punked punk!
Why the crumpled doc? It makes it unable to see the "forger's" work! Wouldn't a raised middle digit have been more appropriate?
Until this "forger" provides PROOF of his "forgery", I have to call this an attempted forgery of a possible real doc.

I've been called a RINO, an Obama supporter, and other things for saying that the "Kenyan" document is an obvious forgery just because it's as bogus as a "US" dollar bill saying "One Peso" on it. That obvious.
People who still believe because they really, really, reeally want to believe are just like Dan Rather.
It's worse when publications quoted as the ABSOLUTE TRUTH by many here lie, blatantly and unashamedly, just like the worst of their political opponents. Here, I'll quote from WND August 2nd:

First, enough people believed it perfectly possible that Obama was born in Kenya nad the document might be genuine, that it has raised a bit of a fracas across the internet.
If that isn't the evidence of reasonable doubt of Obama's Natural Born Citizenship, what is?
If the document is indeed a credible enough forgery, with the apparent absence of similar documents of the time to compare it to from the Coast Province of Kenya, then it makes it apparent that creating a forgery isn't that hard to do with images, at least one which is difficult to debunk, which in turn casts further doubt on the Obama-provided images posted of the alleged Hawaiian COLB.
Awareness, if all else fails, is a good thing.
We did not openly accept this document as evidence, instead the atmosphere of the thread was one of "let's use our time and resources and research to prove or disprove the document's authenticity as best we can with an image of a document and not the original.
Immediately, FReepers were poring over the images, seeking inconsistencies and verifiable and/or refutable points of fact, document layout, kerning, font, print type, etc, and seeking documents for comparison, as well as contesting points of historical validity.
No loss, there, either. We all learned some stuff.
The bottom line, though, is that more people have had their suspension of disbelief revoked.
In conccert with administration policies from health care proposals to stimulus packages to cap and trade to cash for 'clunkers', people are beginning to wonder just who this guy is, and realize we have diddley-squat for documentation of any sort on him.
The doubt keeps growing--in Obama, his policies, and the direction he is taking the country, and his poll numbers are dropping steadliy.
This is just one small aspect of the fight, and no one said it would be easy.
But if you look at the big picture, this aspect is beginning to get people to wonder, more every day, why he doesn't just produce the documents and get it over with.
Against an adversary who ran on a platform of 'hope and change', doubt is a potent weapon.

I hear ya. I was basically accused of being "suspicious" because my join-up date was LESS THAN A YEAR AGO (oh my GAWD!) and was also publicly accused of "sounding like an obamabot," just because I wouldn't drink the Kool-Aid of someone who desperately wanted to believe the "Kenya certificate" was real.
And I never even stated, like you said you did, that "Kenyan certificate" was an "obvious forgery!" I simply expressed the reasons (all of them good, valid reasons) why I personally believed it was a fake.
Some people, even here (which I would like to think is better than DU) just don't give a s*** about truth or reality if it gets in the way of what they WANT to believe. And they won't hesitate (even people who call themselves "Christians") to turn on and devour their FELLOW CONSERVATIVES just because of a disagreement about something that doesn't even have to do with fundamental conservative beliefs. Something like whether a birth certificate is or is not a forgery, or whether there is or is not a real threat from the H1N1 flu virus. There are unfortunately people here who will eat you alive if you don't toe their party line, even on stuff like that.
And in the end, they may be proven wrong, and you may be proven right, but meanwhile you've been spat upon by someone you *thought* ought to be on the same side as you.
As you might guess, this wasn't the first time I've gotten in trouble for getting between someone and his or her agenda.
And the thing that gets me is, like you said, that attitude, which includes a disregard for the truth, is one I would expect from the left, not here.
By the way, you pretty much NEVER get an apology from these kinds of people, even after you’re proven correct and they’re proven wrong. They just slither away into the woodwork for a while, until the next opportunity comes along to put a fellow conservative “in their place.”
