It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

This is clearly unreasonable, because she was filing to for assistance to do just this, authenticate the facts.
However, as I said before, she did have the obligation to prove that the document wasn't an obvious forgery first. A jewelers loop is sufficient to discern if a document is a product of ink jet or laser technology and this cursory inspection by a document examiner would seem to be the threshold of what might be expected as due diligence in this. Just as the impression of the seal would bear the imprint of a coin's denomination under any magnified scrutiny. This not being done, would be a real and serious lack of appropriate care.

Authentication was what she was asking the Court to do. She presented it as unauthenticated.
A private citizen can't just walk into the registration office, even in Kenya, perhaps especially in Kenya with Obama's cousin Rail's thugs running about, and get birth records. But an official request from a court in a friendly country, through the proper channels, is much more likely to get a response.

That may very well be true, a stop over of a short duration is not enough time to authenticate a document. And, it is certainly not feasible if the document to be authenticated had already been submitted to the court then we would have a problem as to what was being submitted for authentication.
If she every had a original paper copy in her hand then it would not be the one shown on the Internet as that was American stock 8 1/2 x 11 not European or Commonwealth stock size A4. 210 x 297mm - longer and narrower.
In both cases the so called original and the admitted components of the fake showed American stock size paper
Unfortunately, that is not what is happening. Instead, they are just spreading the question wider. They say, this is already proven, the B.C. on FactCheck was good enough. So why do people not believe it? They say, nuts, racists, idiots, then some gets more of the facts and who's credibility suffers, the one who is saying nothing here.. move along.. move along. Because something is obviously wrong, why cover the big cover up and spending a million dollars to protect what is supposed to be a cold fact?
The position is stupid on the surface and this is why when a grownup like Lou Dobbs says, show them the original and get it over, it is such a problem. Because there is no good justification.
The fake BC story hit the tabloids today, not the Kenyan BC but the COLB....MSM has given the story over to the National Enquirer, and strangely they have become more reliable than NBC or the New York Times.. Its a funny world we live in.

That’s interesting. What was the basis for measuring the length of the paper, from a photograph of it, with nothing beside it for comparison?

Yes, that is the problem. And it is the same problem that exists with any “documentation” that has the potential to be forged.
The founding fathers were very astute and knew (and historical documentation shows)that there was serious concern about the Republic being infiltrated and subverted. That is why the specific requirement for the President to be a natural born citizen.
