Kenyan document ignites firestorm over authenticity (Let's Discuss Bomford HERE)
WND ^ | 8/4/09 | Staff

A document unveiled by a California attorney in her quest to determine President Obama's place of birth has been condemned as a forgery by critics who deride as nonsense the challenges that have been raised to the president based on the U.S. Constitution's demand that the Oval Office occupant be a "natural born" citizen.

But those on the other side, who would like to see the original documentation of Obama's birth place revealed, say there are factors that indicate the Kenyan birth document could be real.

WND reported when the document was submitted to a California court by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has managed several of the high-profile cases challenging Obama's eligibility to be president.

Then yesterday, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., raised the dispute to the floor of that august body, protesting in a speech added to the Congressional Record that the dispute was not worth one minute of time.

it's quite glaring the pixel blocking around much of the type in the Bomford doc.

Yes, I noticed that too. A note to all forgery DUrkas: scan your documents in grayscale, make your changes, then change back to RGB. Then you won't have all those telltale colorful pixels revealing your blocked-in layers.

Although I called the software and ‘editor for photos’, it’s more precisely ‘imaging’ software.

Probably something similar to Photoshop.

Not to throw salt on a wound, but I suppose it is possible he used that software to scan his BC into the computer and then post it on the website which might account for the ‘signature’ in the header.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell.

I don’t believe ‘Richard Bamford’ is the same person as ‘Richard Bomford’. They don’t even come from the same state.

Richard Bamford is fairly well known here - he’s a leading figure in a prominent accounting firm in Sydney and has been for some time. Richard Bomford - the owner of this domain name is a resident of Canberra, not Sydney.

Kenya called itself a Republic since it’s independence day, Dec 12, 1963. The Dec, 64 date is when their Constitution went into effect, and the results of their earlier election was certified...with the same President, Kenyatta.

We need to remember that this process, their independence from Britain, was started in 1957.

I’m not saying this BC is not a forgery, just using the process of elimination to get to the truth.

Yes, but unfortunately it’s only a photo.

But if might be enough for her to get a judgment from the court which would help to keep the case going.

Except for the fact that those are from different states (and Bomfords is also from a different state to either of those).

Australia has a common format for birth certificates, meaning all certificates are meant to look similar and have similar information. But each state produces its own based on that common format, so they don’t look identical.

I wish I still had the ones I had until last year - because they looked extremely similar to the Bomford one as best I can recall.

Just asking: is it appropriate to compare birth records from the different Aussie States? Ie: Queensland v. South Australia, etc. Maybe they differ state to state like we have here, so even contemporaneous ones will not look the same.

Hmmmmm....

Obviously I wrote that before the final verdict on Bomford. Never pays to post before reading to the end.

Ok, you’re an Australian, excellent. Let’s assume you’re not a troll. I’m not saying you are, not looking how long you’ve been here, etc.

Now, where on your birth certificate does it say what book and what page? In both the aussie and the kenyan docs, it was Book 44B Page 5573. That impossible coincidence, along with Lavender and Miller, was what made it mathematically impossible for both the aussie and the kenyan docs to be genuine.

I do not see any reference to book or page on your birth certificate. Can you find a legitimate Australian birth doc which makes reference to a book and page?

The Kenyan BC has to be real. There is SO much activity on the web about it. The leftists are hoping to confuse the issue by taking action that would be stupid if it were fake. IF it were fake the best bet for them would be to simply shut up and let people run with it. Instead the heat has been turned up to maximum. Fake copies and disinformation are rampant.
I'm 90% to believing that this is going to be settled within a month or two

I agree with you....

Well, we’ll find out soon enough if old Bommie’s looks more like an Aussie version of a BC or a Kenyan one. WND claims they have a legit kenyan one that is identical in format to the Obama kenyan BC.

They need to post it.
