Funny thing.....my husband loved Mountain Dew so much as a kid, his sister calls him Dew.

Let me close with a little trivia....

The famed London Bridge spanned the River Thames for almost 140 years. In 1968, the city of London decided to sell its sinking bridge for $2.6 million to Robert P. McCulloch, founder of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, who needed a bridge to connect the city to an island in the lake. The island was created in order to remove an obstruction that blocked water flow from the Colorado River into Thompson Bay. It took three years to carefully dismantle, pack, ship, and reconstruct the landmark bridge in the desert state. It cost more than $7 million to rebuild it in Lake Havasu City. Finally, on October 10, 1971, London Bridge was officially dedicated in Arizona before a crowd of 100,000 in a lavish ceremony.

Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. Nasty weather this morning. Got a few things I want to catch up on while is kind of not-so-busy.

Well, the guys from Pioneer Telephone came by our house yesterday. They are doing work on a fibre optice installation project for the town of Comanche.

This is similiar to what they did over in Frederick a few months ago.

One of the techs came by and installed new wires on our telephone interface. They're going East to West on this project.

Also, our DTV has a new look. Some of the buttons on the bottom of the remote don't work but I can still change channels and access the guide which looks a little improved.

Not much else is going on except it's forecast to hit 100 today.
