Why replace the early morning image with a different version? No one is going to fold or wear out an internet picture. The first one is more legible than the photoshopped one, so it makes no sense to me to go to all that trouble, including removing the gaping tear at the top. However authentic it may or may not be, it looks fake now.

Do you have any evidence whatsoever that they ever called themselves this? The best BP came up with so far was that they MAY have called themselves this. He has not yet come up with a single instance of them doing so anywhere, and especially not in official documents or seals. Who was the head of state of the supposed "republic of Kenya"?

If you are asserting that they call themselves "Republic of Kenya" before they even first announced they were moving in that direction in mid august 1964, then you either know something you haven't shared with us or you are pushing a falsehood.

Why else do similar birth certificates at that same time also say ‘Republic of Kenya’?

Once again, either you know something that is not widely known or you are pushing a falsehood. The WND article did not explicitly state that the documents they used for comparison were from before December 1964, nor did the article say it shared the "republic of Kenya" header and official seal.

To my mind the biggest hole in this document is that it says "REPUBLIC OF KENYA" on both the document heading AND official seal, 10 months before Kenya became the "republic of Kenya".

What makes this so charged, is that if there is another Government document during the interregnum, that unexpectedly does have a Republic of Kenya letterhead, then the proof is profound. A forger, like us, wouldn't have known something like the coastal district in Kenya jumping the gun on using Republic. If that is the case, it is either the forger of the century, or an authentic document.

Photocopies exaggerate and blur, adding more black than necessary; the printing is now fainter. The notch at the top would not disappear but remain as a black area. The foxing or brown stain would be black on a photocopy. Did you mean a photoshopped copy?
