And then one of our moderators spotted this:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/18018714/Fake-Obama-Kenya-birth-certificate
It has several clues, but also there's this question:
Who is E. F. Lavender?
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=earth+friendly+lavender&aq=f&oq=&aqi
Earth Friendly Lavender detergent?
I understand why A=1 and B=2, but why does O=10 and M=8?
You convinced me that I am punch-drunk and incapable of a rational thought. I was 100% convinced that this whole thing was crap (90% convinced before somebody posted the numbers, then the numbers pushed me over the edge). Now I am ready to admit that I can't think and that I don't know what the heck is going on anymore! lol!
Wow, they're really coming out of the woodwork:
On the other hand, the Marxists’ only strategy left if this document is genuine is to flood the newwaves with trash.
If there is one thing we have all learned in this sad, sorted affair is to never, ever trust a jpg. of a document The document itself must be examined. Failing that, everything is just static.
Let’s have the document examined and then proceed.

Because I was out in my yard, breaking the law by watering my lawn and did not think it through.
Too busy looking out for the H2O Police.
Thanks,....you do good work!
It’s nothing. Silly people trying to do numerology and screwing it up really bad. It’s just a number and it doesn’t represent anything.
Why replace the early morning image with a different version? No one is going to fold or wear out an internet picture. The first one is more legible than the photoshopped one, so it makes no sense to me to go to all that trouble, including removing the gaping tear at the top. However authentic it may or may not be, it looks fake now.
You Listen to Cunningham? He ain't moving on. He's giving the "Birthers" a WIDE audience.
You have been here less than a week. You have posted three times (against Orly)
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
This looks almost identical to my birth certificate from Southern Rhodesia. It’s not entirely improbable that there’s some truth to it. All that has to be done is to check it against the central registry numbers.
What makes this so charged, is that if there is another Government document during the interregnum, that unexpectedly does have a Republic of Kenya letterhead, then the proof is profound. A forger, like us, wouldn't have known something like the coastal district in Kenya jumping the gun on using Republic. If that is the case, it is either the forger of the century, or an authentic document.
The viral messengers are telling us that it is authentic.
If it were not authentic, if it were fake, they would be doing all they can to get everyone on board.
The viral messengers used to keep attacking the ‘birthers’. Ever since the document has appeared, the ‘FUD’ has switched to the document itself.
As before, they ignore whenever someone debunks them and keep spewing the same junk. The purpose is FUD, Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.
There was one person who was even trying to deconstruct Orly. Orly could be a space alien, but that doesn’t change anything about the birth certificate or Obama.
Free Republic being unable or unwilling to tame the viral messengers leaves me greatly disappointed.
I agree with your point.
If they do produce that kind of evidence, it removes the biggest argument for it being a hoax.
If you are equating that with the alphabet, you are wrong.
The poster you got that from is a known troll on these threads
No one would object if you posted a photograph of your birth certificate.
Hitler comes to power in 33.
Liberal FDR becomes president in 33.
Photocopies exaggerate and blur, adding more black than necessary; the printing is now fainter. The notch at the top would not disappear but remain as a black area. The foxing or brown stain would be black on a photocopy. Did you mean a photoshopped copy?
I caught a lot of flak posting a Turley article from Michigan Law Review to FR, back during the election. No one wanted to hear of McCain's Constitutional problem, even though light was shed upon Obama's as well.
