The entire birther argument, that Obama was actually born in Kenya instead of the US, making him ineligible for holding the office of the President of the US, is a spurious argument. It plays into Obama and the liberals hands - they want this to continue since it makes regular conservatives and opponents into fringe wackos.
Not one of us would've looked harder at his legitimacy than Hilary Clinton and the entire Clinton smear machine during the Democratic primaries. That magic bullet would've given Hilary the presidency - and yet nada, bupkis.
There are many valid reasons to oppose Obama and the liberals, but his birthplace isn't one of them.
I largely agree with those who say that this issue has been decided already. HOWEVER, a couple of important things have come up in recent weeks that makes me seriously question this entire issue.
1) People have already asked why Obama has spent upwards of 1.3 million dollars to keep the long form BC sealed up. Why? What’s the reason for it?
2) Why are 170 military people, including many commanders, openly questioning and in fact threatening mutiny against Obama in regards to this issue?
The second question is the one that keeps me from fully accepting the issue as dead. When the military is about to turn it’s guns on you, as a C-in-C, you have trouble.
Where are the college records? (After all, we knew GWB was a "C" student.)
In Hawaii and in the college.
Now, how about answering my questions?
Obama is being AWFUL coy about this. The more he hides the original document, the more questions he raises.

He doesnt have Fox News, or conservative websites and magazines (think National Review, Townhall, Human Events, talk radio like Rush and marc levin, etc). Distractions like this marginalize these voices, which is why most of the publications on the right have come out against the birther conspiracy theories as *UNHELPFUL TO THE CAUSE*.
“If there is even the slightest chance Obama is hiding stuff on his BC and his college background, we have everything to gain and nothing to lose by calling him on it.” He will only release records if it helps him politically.
There is plenty of dirt in the Clinton's history. The Chicago-style politician, Obama, surely wouldn't hesitate to use it against her. Maybe that is why Hilary hasn't revealed anything.

Thank you for your kind words. It’s been frustrating dealing with some close minded, illogical, and frankly bigoted individuals that have degraded this wonderful forum over the years. This is why I’ve drastically reduced my participation in it. I’m ever hopeful we conservatives can all get together and unite against the forces that are destroying our freedom and rights without allowing our religious, social, and other differences to get in the way of a united front.
We are rapidly approaching the tipping point that will plunge our world into civil war. We have a slim chance of rescuing the greatest nation that has ever been; but there are many who would rather cut off their nose to smite their face. This reminds me of the vitriol and outright lying done against Romney and the Mormons by the Evangelicals during the last campaign. Obama was easily seen as the result.
And now, thanks to religious bigotry, a desire to make oneself feel and look good by voting for a black man, and wanting a change by placing one’s hope on a mirage and projection; the entire nation teeters on the edge of destruction.
I fervently pray we will not go over that edge and some miracle appears to prevent the destruction of the most benevolent and magnificent nation that has ever existed on the face of the earth.

Edward, I don’t care where he was born. I never relied on where he was born to figure out he was ineligible. He admits to dual citizenship at birth and I take him at his word. He is clearly not eligible to hold the office.

Obama has the TV screen, except for Fox. The internet is diluting the TV’s importance, but not without lefties busy trying to plug that loophole.
You are really pathetic. You took that completely out of context. I said reading ‘Dreams of My Father’ *AND* “ObamaNation”, the highly critical biography. It’s important to know the official self/auto-biography as a contrast to the critical biography. Knowing Obama’s self-image is as important as anything else to understand his real core.

LOL. Spot on. Has the Kenyan faction of the Birther movement stopped to think about this for a second? Whatever they allege has been done to cover up or forge or supress or do whatever to the evidence, how do the explain the original cover-up?
I know how. By saying there are conflicting reports. That we don’t know for sure what hospital he was born in. Pull back and look at the forest, gentlemen. Why were they reporting on it at all?
