Don't trust him. He's a RINO. Worse than a RINO. He's the enemy within.
You never know where he honestly stands on any issue. What he promises today, he flips on tomorrow. It all depends on which way the political winds are blowing and which office he's running for. He's a liar.
He's a big government socialist. His RomneyCare state run health care system is a big government boondoggle. It's tyranny. Government provided, er, forced health care is tyranny not freedom or free markets. Do not believe the socialist propaganda supporting such nonsense.
Socialized medicine is simply another step to socialized government. Government solutions at the point of a gun are the opposite of what we need. This is socialism! Fascism! Mitt Romney is proud of his big government socialist creation and thinks it would be great for all of America. He wants to force you to accept what the state says is right for you. Your taxes will go up as government costs soar and the quality of the care you receive declines. High costs, long waits, rationing, poor or no service, big government force in other areas is where it leads.
"Hello, we're from the government and we're here to help you." Believe that and you are a sucker!
Say NO to socialism! NO to RINOism! NO to Mitt Romney!!
Rebellion is brewing!!
You said it!
McCotter/Pence or Pence/McCotter doesn’t matter to me they both are rock solid.
I remember way back when his daddy was governor of Michigan. Oh brother. Michigan governors do not get into that position WITHOUT the union support. His family is tied to the unions. Enough said.
The Democrat apparatchiks on the appropriate committees are passing all this crap.
The Congressional Budget Office says any one of them will bankrupt the country.
Now, something to think about on top of that. The estimates are that we'll be spending about 60% more for medical care than we do at present. So where are the doctors, nurses, technicians, hospitals and other medical facilities where that money is supposed to go?
Frankly, I don't think it's possible to do any of what the Democrats propose.
It make sense to force everyone to have emergency room coverage, or proof you can pay like auto-insurance liability because of federal mandate. But not to force these type of comprehensive policies.
Not to mention he has the “executive style hair” that every lying, coniving, backstabbing boss I’ve ever had did.
Jim, you are so wise. I just love reading what you post.
James Carville (DNC): "It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing. Romney is an ascendant guy."
it is news that needs to be pounded into the heads of both the MSM and rino pundits everywhere...that we will not suffer another liberal presidential candidate, no way, no how.
It is the reason we lost in 2008 and it will cause us to lose in 2012 either by losing to the Dhimmicrats or losing, by winning with another RINO president.....
Precisely. And anyone trying to convince me Romney is a conservative has NEVER been able to explain away this action.
Get ready for a hell of a fight, because he’s going to come after Sarah like you wouldn’t believe.
[DNC Intellectual Leader]: Romney is the best candidate in a hundred years."
Ping. Ditto. Bump. And all that.
Well, I can’t speak for Jim, but I can speak for me. I voted for McCain in 2008 mostly because he had Sarah Palin on the ticket. At this point, even with Obama at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, I don’t know if I could vote for Romney regardless of who’s on his ticket. I may well go third party or write in (if I’m still here in NC come 2012, it may be write-in—third parties are almost impossible to ballot here).
There are some things I like about him. I like his business experience. He could be an articulate and forceful spokesman for market-driven reform ideas on things like healthcare...except that he’s shown a willingness to do the exact OPPOSITE while in office. Basically, at this point, he’s wobbled so far all over the place that I don’t know what he actually believes deep down. I can’t vote for somebody like that. I can vote for a RINO (hey, I voted for McCain) if I think he’ll at least listen to conservative ideas. But I don’t think I can bring myself to pull the lever for somebody that I just don’t know I can trust.

Ping. Ditto. Bump. And all that.
I know you didn't ask it of me, and I hope Jim Robinson (the man the MSM IDs as "Jim Thompson"), listen, PAL ---
I USED to think the way you did -- "This is the *real* world," blah blah blah etc etc etc. Then Arnold Schwarzenegger happened, I voted for him because after all, this was the *real* world, blah blah blah -- and I've LEARNED and will from now on apply what I've learned. I have learned that in politics, Liberal victories temporarily threaten American liberty and on the plus side, guarantee an increase in converts to conservatism.
What you condescendingly insist represents living "wisely" in the *real* world, allowing pragmatism to override conservative principle, guarantees the death of conservatism. HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK OBAMA EVER CAME TO APPEAR "CENTRIST" IN THE FIRST PLACE, instead of the far-left socialist that he IS?
When liberalism wins, no matter the name of the party, it will continue to win. You go ahead and vote for Romney, but understand that YOU are the one ensuring victory for liberalism, tyranny, and big government. Not me and not Jim Robinson.
You have not learned a thing. You are fulfilling Einstein's definition of insanity.
You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize that a man with the kind of “business acumen” and efficient “can do” big organization building traits that the Romney ads are flaunting may not be the best traits for government leaders, especially president.
Big government involvement with big business has not exactly worked out for us so far. Again, it’s the opposite of freedom. Big government, big corporate partnerships lead to corruption, favoritism, fewer choices, less competition, government force, higher costs, monopolies and too big to fail scenarios. It’s socialism. Fascism. No thanks, been there, done that.
We need a president who believes in small government, big freedom! Not one who builds big government solutions. We don’t want a president who crosses the aisle to work with the socialists. To hell with that nonsense. We want a president who says NO to the other side of the aisle. One who vetoes their big government solutions. One who attacks and tears down big government! Would rather have a deadlocked, do nothing government than one that efficiently makes itself larger and larger.
We want a president who will fight for smaller government. Who will fight to defend our constitution, fight to defend our individual rights and fight for our freedom! One who will fight for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!
Mitt Romney is demonstrably NOT the man for the job!
Vichy republicans like Mitt Romney
have corrupted and destroyed this Republic
