A federal judge this morning dismissed the suit filed here by a U.S. Army reservist who says he shouldn't have to go to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama was never eligible to be president.
Judge Clay Land sided with the defense, which claimed in its response to Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook's suit, filed July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, that Cook’s suit is “moot” in that he already has been told he doesn’t have to go to Afghanistan, so the relief he is seeking has been granted.
"Federal court only has authority of actual cases and controversies," Land said. "The entire action is dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction."
Well he’s not going to and nothing would please me more than for the Supreme Court or any federal judge to call him on this.
Let’s just accept the fact that he was elected to a four year term and that if we really do want political change in this country, we’re going to have to work hard for it. Nothing will be handed to us. Change begins by re-taking the Congress next year. This is the simple reality of the situation. It is wishful thinking to think the courts are going to take care of BHO. We have to take back this country ourselves and through hard work. There is no easy or lazy way out of this.
If both of his parents were not American citizens at the time of his birth, he is not a natural born citizen though.

Also...To ignore this birth certificate issue is to miss out on a **wonderful** Saul Alinsky opportunity.
1) Freeze the issue: Wow! With just two words, “birth certificate”, full attention is directed at Obama’s past and his right to occupy the White House.
2) Delegitimize: The birth certificate casts a pall over everything he says, does, and ( most important) **signs**.
3) Personalize: Only **Obama** can produce his birth certificate. This is not as global as his entire party.
4) Ridicule: Obama’s natural born status is now a **joke**. Rush's line about “God and Obama” was great. Even Dems like Biden and Gibbs are laughing about it.
5) Have fun doing what you like: The e-bay sale was terrific! I am still laughing about that one. Farrah is enjoying himself with billboards. Berg and Taitz are getting **tons** of free publicity for their law practices, and for them, Obama’s birth certificate is likely a hobby.

You betcha. It is the military brass that is protecting an unconstitutional Commander in Chief. People on here amaze me with their adoration of “the US military.”
Individual, honorable soldiers risking self interest, their health and lives to serve our country, I can understand adoring and aiding in any way possible as people who support soldiers do.
But blindly assigning “honorable” and “trustworthy” to “the military” as if it is all one thing and soldiers are all one thing, is insane. Cook is a man who is special among an Army that is not full of Cooks. I honor them to the hilt because it is a huge sacrifice for a military man to stand up in the US Military when things go wrong.
Most officers and enlisted men are obedient head nodders with less than perfect values and morals. Their loyality lies to themselves and their self interest just as the society that produces them. Some are special like Major Cook.
Major Cook did the right thing so he can not be a loser in this battle he waged for all Americans that the rule of law be upheld by power in our country. Power on all levels has spoken to all Americans because Major Cook forced them head on. There is no constitution controling and limiting our rulers anymore. They do what they want, to whom they want, whenever they want as it serves their supreme will and power.
If anyone has connections to that police and military oath keepers organization, I would appreciate you contacting them on behalf of Officer Cook who needs a job and plenty of support for daring to actually keep his oath to the constitution for all of us.

Yes, I agree that Taitz seems to claim victory too, too early in this and other cases, and so she ends up frustrating the rest of us by raising false hope when she talks about her lawsuits concerning Obama.
Still, I hope that she keeps up the good fight until Obama finally gives Hawaii permission to release Obama's long form birth certificate, Obama is removed from office, or Obama declares that he is not running for a second term.
1. I make the statement above about Taitz because it seems that she is the only one out there who is willing to challenge Obama day after day in the courts about his eligibility status.
2. I know it must be very frustrating for Taitz to lose lawsuit after lawsuit, but, again, I hope that she keeps up the good fight, because she seems to be the only person who is willing to fight Obama and his high priced lawyers day after day, or until, hopefully, Obama finally allows Hawaii to release his long form birth certificate and allows Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard to release his college records.

I agree with you. My point is, if the DOD can't find a reason to court martial Cook, a stunning precedent has been set for the rest of the military.

0 is not a Hitler. He is a Stalin. He is steadily taking over every arm of the government and sheilding his authority from all external control.
By the time elections roll around he will be firmly in control of the electorate process and will have jerrymandered every district in the country. His personal control over and perversion of the census guarantees this.
Whatever its character, whether violent or peaceful, revolution is the only possible means of extricating 0 from the presidency.
Obama is 100% responsible for setting that precedent.

I’m sure that Obama expected a few like Cook, but I doubt that they are expecting enough to force things into public view and ultimately to sway public opinion.

No, his parents were in Baton Rouge on a fresh student visa. Jindal was their anchor baby which they used to stay and eventually get naturalized. So Jindal was a natural-born Indian. A lot of other extended Jindals and aunts and uncles have since followed the anchor family to Louisiana.
Today’s dismissal doesn’t answer the question of whether Obama is eligible to serve as Commander-in-Chief. The White House went and answered that for us when they backed out of today’s hearing and revoked Major Cook’s deployment. Obama will have to prove in court, sooner not later, if he is eligible. It’s likely that he will resign first instead of provide evidence. Watch Lightfoot vs. Bowen (Orly Taitz) at the U.S. District Court in Santa Ana, CA. with Judge David O. Carter to be the action that removes Obama from office.
