(CNSNews.com) - There is a knock at the front door. Peeking through the window, a mother sees a man and a woman, both in uniform. They are agents of health-care reform.
Excuse me, maam, says the man. Our records show that your eleven-year-old daughter has not been immunized for genital warts.
And your four-year-old still needs the chicken-pox vaccine, says the woman.
He will not be allowed to start kindergarten unless he gets that shot, you know, says the mansmiling from ear to ear.
So, can we please come in? asks the woman. We have the vaccines right here, she says, lifting up a black medical bag. We can give your kids the shots right now.
We are from the government, says the man, and were here to help.
Is this a scene from the over-heated imagination of an addlepated conspiracy theorist? Or is it something akin to what is actually envisioned by the health-care reform bill approved this week by the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee.

It’s not going to ban it outright and in specific language in the bill. It’s going to cause an environment of near impossibility to keep private insurance
I’m not defending the bill. It’s probably a terrible bill, and it may well have the effect you’re suggesting. I’m just saying there’s nothing on the referenced page of the referenced bill that would directly or indirectly ban all private insurance.
<Yes we let them in. But I have no idea what happened to them after that.
LOL. Yeah, my first thought was that there were going to be a lot of dead health care agents.
Americans have all kinds of issues with this stuff - whether your religion tells you not to get certain health procedures, whether you are a leftist or rightist against the state (yes, there are leftists against the state), whether you live alone or in a crime area and don’t want strangers in your house, or you are just your average armed FReeper, looks to me like health care agent would be a dangerous line of work.
Will this be in the script? “We’re from the Government...and we’re here to help kill you.”
If you want to inject your children with aborted baby cells, fetal Reeses monkey cells, gerbil ovarian cells, MSG, anti-freeze, etc., be my guest. I respect your right (except aborted baby cells) to do so. I choose not to. Please respect my right to do so. I did much research before I decided against vaccines for my son. I was completely against it at first. Then I started visiting vaccine manufacturers web cites.
You apparently do not understand the innoculation and vaccination process. Yes cultures are grown using animals or cells that are not human. That is not condemnatory in and of itself. Perhaps you would rather have the horriffic deaths and disablities associated with such “child hood” diseases as measels. Having lived through multiple epidemics and a nearly fatal case of same I prefer a vaccination. You benefit from the fact that others vaccinate their childre. If that were not so and it was say 1950 then you would be waiting for that first polio vaccine.
I can’t type what I’d like to say.
Many vaccines do use cells from aborted babies. You can research any vaccine manufacturing site. Anything that says human diploid cells is human baby cells. I am prolife. I do not condone taking human life to save human life.
bttt
Human baby cells are not harvested from aborted babies. The monoclonal activity hgas been ongoing for some time. Cell replication, ie the dreaded cloning is where these cells come from. You may be good with a gun but you know next to nothing when it comes to disease prevention
I am very good with a gun. Got myself a college scholarship with my Anschutz 2012, athankyou. You are mixing things up. Human life is not to be created just to be taken away. That means that we should not create test-tube babies for research or justify abortion for fetuses for research. Michael J. Fox should not take another life to attempt to cure his disease. My family is plagued by breast cancer, but I refuse to give money to Susan G. Komen foundation because they in turn give money to PLanned Parenthood. I don’t care if lack of funding prevents Komen from curing cancer, even mine, if they support taking innocent human life. However, human life can be taken in the form of justice. Even the Catholic church believes that. Aborted human babies are used to culture the disease that is injected for the innoculation. Sometimes animal cells are used. You do not need to kill me to protect your family, because I am no threat to your family. And one of my favorite quotes is from Aristotle: We make war that we may live in peace.
Your direct quotation was “I do not condone the taking of human life to save human life.” You put no qulifiers on. The problem with black and white statements is that the specificity required for accuracy gets larger and larger hence creating the impossible case.
This discussion has gone from whether certain ( and note I never said I supported all forms of vaccination) vaccinations were useful to your going on and on about planned parenthood and Parkinsons. I don’t care where you choose to give your dollars or why for that matter. It is irrelevant to the previous discussion.
And you have no idea of whether you are a threat to my family or not. Perception is after all all that is important
I am no threat to your family. However you have chosen to threaten to kill me. Maybe I should contact my attorney. As for the arguement, you are just getting nasty because I have proven my point with facts. Piss off. Do not reply. I will contact the moderator about your threat.
I haven’t threatened to kill anyone. You truly are over the top
