The Daily Kos has a post up quoting MSNBC personality David Shuster's Twitter page stating his show will be covering the controversy over Free Republic and comments about Malia Obama:
@mikelord @thejoshuablog. We will cover this monday: http://bit.ly/3pqS7M. But follow @joetrippi for what can be done on-line. about 2 hours ago from web
The embedded link goes to the Vancouver Sun hit piece posted earlier to FR
Over at Twitter, the leftists are all in a hypocritical lather over FR.
David Shuster is on sometime mid-afternoon East Coast time Monday-Friday.
Good tag line for you. I hope you were able to get some sleep. BTW the sky is blue today with few clouds & I am off to enjoy it. Have a great day!
As am I. Have a good day, everyone. :-)
Last refuge of someone who can not refute an argument. Congrats for joining that illustrious club.
Since it doesnt look like you understood what I was saying I will try again:
I thought you made pretty good sense on a lot of your posts ... And now I see that other people here are calling you a troll.....
so (and this is the main reason Im posting to you) congratulations on being a troll who has been on FR since 1997...In my book that is a real accomplishment
( this is what is called sarcasm ...In effect I am saying I dont know how one can be a troll and still be around since 1997)
Last refuge of someone who can not refute an argument.
I agree with you on this statement
Apparently TR said that on May 7, 1918, while the US was involved in World War I. So it's sort of ironic to use this quote on FR since plenty of people here thought it was treasonable to criticize Bush while we had troops in Iraq.
It's been SOP since I started posting here.
The "peace symbol" has been associated with British nuclear disarmament groups since 1958 and was apparently invented by a member of one of these groups.
In the 1960's the peace symbol was used by people in the US who opposed the war in Vietnam. That is not quite the same as "denigrating our troops". In any case, even at at time the peace symbol came to have the much more general meaning of favoring peace.
Apparently some people see it as being a very politically-charged symbol. I was around in the 1960s and I see it as having about as much political charge as a smiley face. That appears to be the majority opinion about it now.
I suggested a way for you to prove your assertion that FR is becoming racist and you have declined, simply continuuing your assertions over and over with no proof. Considering the bombshell discoveries that shows Chris Parry/KOS/MSNBC trying to set us up, I think it’s time you apologize. I posted this to you on another thread, you need to comment on what I am saying here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2290929/posts?page=795#795
The "Peace Symbol" is a combination of the semaphore signals "N" and "D", standing for nuclear disarmament.
"Total nuclear disarmament", Obama, Russia and the commie-led "peace" movement

I agree wholeheartedly not the best choice...and as the president’s daughter she should have been wearing bermudas. I do think she is pretty though, but not the best choice in clothing.
She is an absolutely lovely little girl and very tall for 11. I think that makes it even worse that her parents didn’t see that she was dressed appropriately. And may have even used her to make a statement.
They “got us” like they “got Rush.”
Get ready for an onslaught of traffic and make sure we post a lot of interesting articles and discussion comments for the next couple of weeks! Serious stuff about socialized medicine cost and Obama’s health care “cuts” targeted at the handicapped and the eldery. Cap and Trade and Internet censorship planned by one of Obama’s czars, too!
We should dedicate some effort to posting some of MSNBC’s more radical and hateful moments in memory of their current smear against Free Republic. Teabagger sex smears and Olberman is a jack pot of hate. Same with the Kos Kids... Jim’s recent post on “comparing Presidents to monkeys is wrong” is a good example of what should be easily acceptable as people come onto the web-site. Covering ACORN convictions would be good and Holders’ derailing the prosecution of those Black Panther Obama supporters blocking voting place in Ohio would be good for folks to know.
All advertisment is good. Especially when it turns out to be a misrepresentation. :)
I was using “You” the same way you did, not about you specifically, but about people in general.
I don’t think you fight fire with fire if the fire is attacking kids.
Do you seriously think that if that was Bush and her daughter, anybody would have thought she was speaking to her daughter using monkey sounds?
Hey Chris, it depends on how much you have to drink at parties!God knows you guys need a break! I loved the pics here! Great
Yes, I do. Did you see the picture? Have you ever in your life made a face like that and made monkey sounds to a pet? Or other animal sounds? How would you caption that picture, just curious? Also why is it ok to say W looks like a monkey or but it’s not ok to say a black does? This PC double standard stuff is ridiculous. If you want to live your life tip toeing around to make sure you conform to their rules, go right ahead. I will conform to FR rules while I am here. I will conform to my own when I am elsewhere and I won’t live my life in fear I might say something that might offend a liberal.
Why would you think it is OK to say that Bush looks like a monkey?
But while the claims of racism are often absurd, it is fact that whites often used “monkey” to denigrate blacks, suggesting that they were further down the evolutionary chain than whites.
We can’t ignore history, and pretend that our ignorance should excuse us. And it’s not like the caption on the picture is the only racial remark that has been made here recently. There have been a lot of stereotyping applied.

___________
I never said it was OK to say Bush looks like the chimpy that they dogged him with for 8 long years. what’s good for the goose is good for the gander and I don’t care. You can’t control people. You can’t sit there and look for every little thing they say. FIRST AMENDMENT isn’t just for liberals. Sorry.
Well, 50mm you got poor little David Shuster all a’twitter with your picture there.
He's whining that “the conservative site [FR] spews homphobia” because of your humorous take on The Three Ho’Migos.
Interesting he doesn't deny that he is a poofter and doesn't seem to understand what the suffix “phobia” means.
He was so shook up from seeing your artwork the he left a big "O" out of "homphobia."
Now he's got another “charge” against Free Republic for his
big giant important fantastic Pullet Suprise report on racism at FR tomorrow on MSNBC
My what the leftists can read into a little photoshop spoof
You'd think a poofter would feel akin to a spoofter, the names sound so similar.
I'll bet if A. Cooper and Keith O. saw your picture they would giggle about it!
You’ve been noticed by Miss Schuster ;)
After twittering our intention to examine the racism on freerepublic, now the conservative site spews homphobia. http://twurl.nl/qd8hwl
