If the Obama’s were conservative black people they would be called Uncle Tom’s, Aunt Jemimahs, and ugly pictures and cartoons would be all over the place. Like the one that depicted Condi Rice in a nasty way.

I think we should always forcefully attack those who do the wrong thing.
You don’t attack people who say bad things about the President’s daughter, by saying bad things about the new President’s daughter. If the new President’s daughter said bad things about the last President’s daughter, we could attack her for doing so.
But to go after a minor to “get back” at people who went after a different minor makes no sense, doesn’t accomplish the goal you espouse, and will do harm to the conservative movement.
If you are referring to racist posts, wouldn't it be better to keep browsing and hit the abuse button more often?
Exactly. I used to surf FR during breaks at work. Now, as you say, I dare not open any Obama-related thread in a public place. And you and I both know why.
Re: Loafers. This reminds me of the story about Clinton’s trip to Camp David for a little R & R. On arrival there he realized that he had forgotten to bring any casual shoes. He immediately called the White House staff and requested that they send him a pair of loafers. Thirty minutes later Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson showed up.
And like George Allen, the media will use specifics (handful of attention garnering posts with references to black culture and slang) to drumbeat the general (conservatives are racist.) And they won’t let up.
Regardless of the intent of the posters, those types of posts will be lumped in with the debunked “Kill him!” chants from the Palin rally and used as “evidence” of conservative racism. That’s what is at stake, but some of these guys act as if the world’s future hinges on the dress code of an 11 year old. So why bother?
Except, to ask why Palin’s kids are fair game and Obama’s aren’t? Isn’t Obama “asking for it” much like Palin by allowing a picture to be made of his kids? Gasp!
Since obama was elected, I’ve seen an increase in posters who made comments that were odd. They were later pointed out as newbies or zotted. I recall saying to someone on a thread that it I would have to start checking sign on dates before engaging in debate or comments for a few that I didn’t recognize. Usually they were ‘outted’ before I replied. On the other hand, sitting back and observing for awhile is very telling.
Some of it's even positive about Barack ~ notice that I think he's the guy who went around eliminating the bushes and small trees with switch making capability ~ just to protect his daughters from their mother.
You watch ~ the daughter will be a "runaway" much earlier than you can imagine.
Not racist posts but really rude, name-calling posters. I have noticed that there are some who think very little of using obscenities when disagreeing. Yes. I hit abuse. Then get off FR. Who needs that?
