Add to this the fact that this bum also endorsed Romney in December 2007 and you got a guy that has “part of the problem” stamped on his forehead.
DO NOT DONATE TO CPAC! “”
Bears repeating.

You misunderstood my post. I know Romney is not a conservative. I was saying that Romney is probably the CPAC pick. Wasn’t he the big cheese there last year?

CPAC can go to hell.
I always thought that CPAC was very highly looked at here. I am surprised that CPAC would say the things they did but are we not supporting CPACs anymore?
To: Joe Boucher
So what is option 2? I am open for suggestions.

A conservative gives Governor Palin some constructive criticism.
This guy is hardly a conservative. What's he doing running CPAC, anyway?

He's flat out wrong
She did not resign to run away from her critics She said she was wasting Alaska's time and money having to fight back and could not give 100% as Gov because of the attacks, If she ignored them they would run her to the ground so I agree with her, She can't fight back and run the state at same time, I'm on the side of fighting back and standing up for yourself. She resigned to be able to fight back not to give in.

You of course were quite thoroughly against Palin as presidential timber before she resigned. I think you are mistaken and hope you will keep an open mind—as I believe she is the most economically conservative and politically talented candidate we might possibly get.
I do grant you and Keene two points where I am in agreement: she clearly needs national-class operatives working for her, which she hasn’t had to date, and I too think she should ignore more of the nasty slings and arrows and stop referring to them.
As to the ‘quitter’ charge, politicians resign their offices early all the time. The ethics hounding of the Democrats actually gave her a legitimate in-state reason to pass the reins over to her lt. gov ally a few months earlier than she might have otherwise. And given the damage from having Obama in office with a Democrat Congress, it is clearly to the Republican Party’s and all the country’s gain that she is now free to campaign widely for candidates in 2010. 2012, I believe, will come naturally after that.

Barack Obama wasnt qualified to run a Starbucks yet idiots elected him to the highest job in the landYes, and that's why Sarah is SO damned appealing.
But is it a reason for her to be President?

Look at this thread.
A conservative gives Governor Palin some constructive criticism. Which we as conservatives should do.
And everyone in this thread explodes. Its laughable, and quite frankly sad, what has happened to our movement if we are unable to provide constructive criticism to our own
Indeed look at this thread. The leader of a purportedly conservative group goes on the record as calling Palin a "whiner" and some people consider that "constructive" criticism. The comments were neither constructive or accurate. They were an inaccurate attack designed for the purpose of smearing Palin. People are sick and tired of Palin getting this abuse, and from someone supposedly on our side? It's shameful. Calling it what it is repeatedly is not "whiny" either, it's fighting back against elitist smears.

Rather than creating the impression she is a quitter, Palin should have remained as governor and carved out some time to run her operation nationally so she could get out of the state to do a few speeches, Keene says. She should have taken this time to establish that shes a heavyweight not just a political heavyweight but substantively heavy. This is precisely what Governor Palin did not want to do. She did not want to cheat the citizens of Alaska by pretending to be governor while really doing something else. I admire her tremendously. I worry about her lack of experience and her inability to speak coherently at times, but the 2008 election has proven that a lack of experience is not a vote-killer. Her challenge in speaking to those who believe (rightly or wrongly) she is uneducated, can be met. Perhaps that is part of what she will be working on.
Sarah Palin represents the very best America has. She is the true feminist. She is the true Christian. She can and will (with the grace of God) triumph. I trust her. I will do whatever I can to support her.

It’s not the criticism, but the beltway snarkiness and condescending attitude from these people that piss us off.

Dave is either another dirty Republican Palin Hater who has something to hide, or he's acting on behalf of such filth. IMHO.

What Keene, and the rest of the middle-of-the-road non-fighting "conservatives" have either purposefully or ignorantly done is confuse fighting back with whining. BINGO!
