CPAC Chairman: Palin Not Ready for Presidential Run

By: Ronald Kessler
Sarah Palin needs to stop whining about unfair media coverage and get over the fact that some people dont like her, Dave Keene, chairman of the American Conservative Union, tells Newsmax.
Palin doesnt seem to get that politics is a tough game, says Keene, one of the countrys most astute political observers.
The American Conservative Union, with 1 million members, runs the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington and publishes an annual "Rating of Congress," the gold standard for ideological assessments of members of Congress.
Youve got to recognize that there are people who want you to fail, Keene says. And if you spend your time worrying about them, or whining about what they say, at the very least itll get you off your game, because you ought to be worried about what youre going to do, not about what theyre going to do to you.
Resigning as governor of Alaska only compounded Palins problems, which have been accumulating since the November election, Keene says.
In the period leading up to the resignation, she needed to get over the fact that people didnt like her, Keene says. Get over the fact that she harbored resentment for the McCain people that used her. All of those things are true, but she got more out of it than they did, and she had to begin to move on with what she needed to establish in terms of her own image, to move to the next level. And she delayed doing that.
"Now it becomes more difficult because of the way in which she bailed out on the governorship.
...and Obama was?
CPAC can go to hell.
Barack Obama wasn’t qualified to run a Starbucks yet idiots elected him to the highest job in the land. Such hypocrisy from this CPAC Chairman, with so-called Conservatives like this, no wonder we are in the situation we are in right now
oh boy..
“Palin doesnt seem to get that politics is a tough game, says Keene, one of the countrys most astute political observers.”
Keene will find out how tough she is soon enough, is my guess...
I think they have picked Romney as their man.
Maybe it’s Keene who is committing political suicide
Dave Keene’s mouth is moving but his voice sounds like Mitt Romney.
Yep, that is pretty darn obvious
YEP.
Iowa GOP Wants Sarah Palin for Fundraiser (Ronald Reagan Dinner)
...I suggest you get with the program and fast!
Anyone who calls themselves “conservative” and trashes Sarah Palin is NOT a conservative!
I second what someone else said; the CPAC and the RINOs can all go to hell!
WE THE PEOPLE SHALL SPEAK!!!!!!!
SARAH PALIN, 2012!
Keene has clearly spent too much time inside the Beltway and has become one of them.
But the Kenyan marxist who has done little outside organizing community illiterates was ready?
Give it 2 1/2 years....
CPAC can go to hell.
In the period leading up to the resignation, she needed to get over the fact that people didnt like her, Keene says.
Maybe these idiots need to get over the fact they are not representing a single conservative I know...
And more proof that anyone who says one negative thing (even if it is constructive criticsm) is labeled a RINO.
Keane is correct. Governor Palin needs to toughen up and worry about what she is doing, not what others say about her.
This has nothing to do with Obama. This is about Governor Palin.
Again, the Palin supporters show their lack of spine and their continued goddess worship (in a sickening Obama like way) of Governor Palin
