Everytime they have a major bad bill up for a vote....they start distracting folks to ‘look over here’ and try to change the subject to another controversial bill in the ‘future’. It is always the same story line. ‘The Dems may not all be in lockstep’...blahblahblah, yet they always vote in lockstep at the end of the day(give or take one or two votes..which they easily make up for with rinos).
Stay focused people..call your senators about the capntax bill and the healthcare bill.. and yes, go ahead and mention you don’t want a second pork bill either..but stay focussed. This is to distract folks.

The thing is it was a very bad idea first time around. You cannot spend your way to prosperity. The government needs to spend way less. And cut back on regulation which is always restraint or holding back.
Of course. The first “stimulus” failed, and so they want another, which will fail too.
Whenever liberal solutions to social problems fail, as they always do, liberals always demand a stronger version of the one that failed, which will fail too in its turn.

Sure, it was too small! They were trying to take down the nation and in that respect, it was too small and didn’t work.
Now they have to try again and laugh at how stupid the “smart Americans” are.
Any vote, democrat, independent or republican, in favor of a second stimulus package should be voted out of office as soon as possible!
Add me to that consensus. For the Republicans who DIDN’T vote for it, but remain silent and act as if “Shoot, we lost that one, oh well better luck next time”, they need to go too.

The first stimuless was a payoff for their supporters at the expense of the taxpayer. The second stimuless is to keep from killing the golden taxpayer. As is usually with Fascicrats, it will be too late and misdirected. The best stimulus would be to cancel the first stimuless.

borrowing money you don't have to spend it on things you don't need will stimulate the economy....

so....why doesn't the government borrow $300,000,000,000,000 and send everyone checks for $1 million?
I would go one step farther. I intend to vote against any politician who represents me that voted for the TARP bailout, Porkulous, Amnesty, the prescription drug give-a-way, health care "reform" or anything else that isn't specifically contained within the bounds of Federal responsibility as is stated in the Constitution.
It's way past time to clean house!
