That just doesn't sound right. She's known to be closemouthed about alot of things. They just reported on FOX news that people worked with her just 2 days ago about some future things to do with the government of Alaska. She didn't even give them a clue that she was going to resign.
When she and Todd Palin found out they were having a Down's Sundrome baby, she kept close mouthed about that as well.
I cannot imagine she's out blabbing to her staff that she's done with politics. Even if she was, I don't believe she'd be telling anyone. She seems to hold things close from what I've heard.
If she is done with politics, who could blame her? And I love that she didn't sit there as a lame duck and set her Lt Governor up for success.
I admire her even more now.

Sarah said she is going to concentrate on a bottom up approach to politics, and that she was inspired by servicemen and women who make the military what it is. Sounds to me like the formation of a new party to me. She may not be leading it, but I think she will be a strong advocate and using her voice to organize it. The republican party is rotten to the core. She sees that and so do most of us here.
I listened to her speech and if you take what she said as the truth, then she said she is going to support those candidates who believe in what she believes in. And fight for issues she believes in.
While the pundits like to yip, yap, and mostly like to hear the sound of their own voice, the pundit’s analysis presented thus far seems to have totally ignored what Sarah Palin said.
best thing that could happen right now is she replaces Steele at the top of the party....

If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!

Are you kidding? The point guard who passed off the ball while keeping her eye on the bigger picture - to win? And played with injuries? If that were the case she more than likely would have finished her term as governor.

I guess you can believe what Andrea Mitchell, MSM Liar, says, or hear what Sarah was implying in her speech.
This frees her up to get out there and campaign for 2010 Congressional candidates, and then jump in 2012 Presidential race herself.
