I think he means that it is better to run for one office while still holding another. Kind of like it is easier to find another job while you are employed rather than unemployed. It just makes you appear more sought after.

It’s the same reason so many were hoping Hillary would lose her bid for the NY Senate. To go from First “Lady” to President is a long shot. From Senator to President not nearly so long a shot.

I’m having trouble taking this as good news.

That is a great idea. I would love to hear her, well, just talk. I don’t know what her grand scheme is yet, but, I feel for her people of Alaska. She was golden.

True, but Reagan had so much more going for him than just being a governor.

Ann Coulter coming up on Hannity. No doubt, she’ll have some comments.

If she's resigning, something definitely is up. More than likely something to do with her family or herself...

She will run for the vacant Senate seat in 2010. In the interim she will spend her time building a warchest...

I hope you are right. That would be a brilliant move.

I think this means Senator Palin, not President Palin.

With recent revelations of sexual chicanery by Ensign and Sanford, if true, this may mean she would complete the trifecta of GOPers with sexual scandals in the news lately.

I hope it isn’t so, but no idea why she would resign in a few weeks and not complete her term. Maybe she is sick of politics. Maybe a health issue. But frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if some kind of sex scandal shoe is about to drop.

Wait and see.

If she’s really resigning then that’s a shock. Maybe she’s tired of her kids getting bashed by the media everyday and just wants to live a normal life with her family.

" Some RATS at MSNBC opined that she should get more experience as a Governor before making a decision on running for President. "

" They had no idea how stupid they looked... "

But, yet ? if she run's against Mr. Obama in 2012, they will tout over and over again 24/7 how much a Senator has more experience over a Governor ....
Rush is right, the left have their templates, and they have their template ready to force on the un informed sheeple to believe them...

Perhaps God’s plan was to prepare the public for Sarah by placing an incompetent inexperienced affirmative action hire over our country for five years.

Heck, it’s only been six months and he’s almost succeeded in totally destroying the country.

A couple of bills signed, and there’ll be nothing but ashes to be president of.

If she steps down, then either moves or semi-relocates in the lower 48, whe may actually enhance her position, IMO.

This isn’t the full story in any event, to be sure.

She knows she will be criticized - have persecution - because of WHO she represents. Her strength comes from ‘HE WHO is within me, is greater than he who is in the world’.
