True, but Reagan had so much more going for him than just being a governor.
Both are/were unabashed conservatives. the media has portrayed Palin as ‘stupid” as they do EVERY Conservative they fear. Reagan was laughed at by the press his entire political career.
Palin can and should fight these lies and smears by going right at them, by speaking out loudly and often for what she (and I) believe America needs AND wants at this time. It is one of the greatest failings of the Right to believe simply because the liberal media condemns, denigrates and discredit someone/something the American people will automatically agree with them.
To my knowledge Palin has done nothing in her life to bring discredit or condemnation upon her. Each of the silly claims made about and against her have been dealt with and those that required legal defense have all been successful. It is the media which can be made to look bad (worse then they look now) by Palen letting people experience for themselves what she is about and has to say about in which direction she would take this Nation.
