The Coming Obama Dictatorship
Red South
Posted on 06/28/2009 1:12:21 PM PDT by RED SOUTH
Many posts and replies indicate that there is a real fear that Obama , who has arrogant despot tendancies , will set himself up as a dictator. As he continues to slip in polling toward Bush and Carter numbers and as his agenda fails to pass this summer many watch nervously to see how he will act out. Keep in mind rule number 1 in setting yourself up as a dictator. It requires the full support of the military. No dictatorship has ever survived or succeeded without the military. The military is usually the source of a coup. Our soldiers are patriots and an overwhelming number of them hate the pretender in chief. The odds of coup against Obama are more realistic than a dictatorship set up by the empty suit. When we look back at this after the 2012 election , after our long national nightmare is over and the pretender in chief is voted out , it will be clear that he was nothing more than an empty suit affirmative action created President that got in way over his head. The democrats will be banished for a generation as we witness the communist pigs they really are.

Not enough info for an answer. . .and most likely, intelligent as they are, they see someone trying to set a trap.

Did you miss the part about swearing to defend the constitution and not serve a specific person?
My 29-yrs with the military disagree with your assessment, profoundly disagrees.

The military defends the constitution NOT the president. The president is one of three branches of the government. The military understands that. While the president is CinC, he is not the constitution, and that is what they are sworn to defend while to defend against all enemies foreign and domestic. The US military is unique in that regards, as they defend an idea, not a person.

Tell me. . .”the Pentagon,” just who are we talking about here, as the Chief's are to train and equip. . .the combatant commanders are the warfighters. . .but I am sure you already knew that.

Did you miss the part about swearing to defend the constitution and not serve a specific person? A person can swear oaths to the Constitution all day long. If they don't know anything about the US Consitution it doesn't mean anything. They won't know when the the Constitution is being violated if they haven't been steeped in it's principals.

Martial law is what worries me. A generated rat crisis may be all they need to convince some they are thier protectors.

They will have to face over 100 million armed citizens. I don’t think they will be dumb enough to try it.

I sense a serious lack of education, training and professional development in your service. Have a nice day, out.

This whole thing is VERY frightening.
The thing that frightens me MOST is that none of our intelligence? services who must have known everything there is to know about O apparently did nothing to stand in his way.
I firmly believe a LOT of people violated their constitutional oath in allowing him to take office.
The U.S. has been the victim of a silent coup. I never thought it could happen here.

Our soldiers will do as they're told.
Not if the family members of said soldiers continue to keep the soldiers informed about what the traitors are up to. IMO, all that is required is enough doubt to make the troops "think" for a little bit before they act.
Our military folks talk to each other AND to their families, regularly. They aren't brain-dead.

There’s a reason they won’t answer directly. Don’t worry, ALL the military officers I know (including the one that resides in my own home) will do the right thing in the end. For the most part, they are true patriots! The best interest of the Country will always outweigh the best interests of one man.

#1) Loosen the standards on allowing gang memebers and convicted fellons in the military.
When this happens..that may be his personal loyal infliltrated “army”.
I’ll have to talk to my army recruiter friend and ask him when/if this ever happens..
Also last time I saw him, he said they were tightening standards just becuase the economy had given the military an abundance of new recruits.

ESPECIALLY when those opposing him will be presented as insane Right-Wing Whacko Militia-types, or somesuch...
Sorry, but that's not gonna fly. Remember that the DHS memo also labeled "returning Iraq & Afghanistan war vets" as "potential terrorist threats". Our troops ain't gonna EVER forget that one.

Keep in mind Bam has already talked about a domestic security force independent of the military, FBI, & local law enforcement.Billions to Acorn, Americorps and other community organizing groups could be the foundation for such a force.

Metrosexuals **all** of them! Even the women!
Now take a look at the faces in the photos of post #12. Who do you think will win?
