Did you miss the part about swearing to defend the constitution and not serve a specific person?

A person can swear oaths to the Constitution all day long. If they don't know anything about the US Consitution it doesn't mean anything. They won't know when the the Constitution is being violated if they haven't been steeped in it's principals.
