Passes 219-212, 8 Repuiblicans for it could have killed it. 3 not voting.
Still has to pass the senate and that looks like a hard sell. Lots of time to work on educating folks.
Keep your powder dry.
Davy had it right...
It’s 7 1/2 more than they would need to claim “This is what Americans asked for” even though no one has a clue what’s in it.
Thank you, we’ll add ‘em to the list!!
‘...not donate to the GOP at all!..... I will only support those I research and find to be real conservatives not RINOS!’
I do the same.
One of those 8 dipsticks (clean version) provided cover to my ‘RAT rep who was able to vote “No.” Coal and coalburning plants are BIG where I live. Had one of those RINOs not provided her cover, I could have really torn her up in the Letters To The Editor sections around here. Just Damn!
And a private tour of Neverland.
I, too, switched to Fox and they are continuing this non stop coverage of Michael Jackson. What happened to coverage of Iran or North Korea or the Cap and Trade and Health Care debacles???
This is what we get for permitting the Rinos to take over our party.
We really have to work if we want to change things; but honestly, I don’t think we can fix the country after Obama, the rinos and the Democrats are done. We are going to be a very poor nation and very much under the thumb of the far left and globalists.
This is not America anymore. It is going to get much worse.
FWIW, I sent a FAX to each and every RINO who voted for HR 2454 informing them that they are Republican TRAITORS.
Hey, what a big surprise (not). All of these Quislings are from the east cost, west coast and Illinois.
You better go buy a lot of paper and toner. It's over 1500 pages.
Here’s hoping it dies in the Senate!
Excellent point.
With a vote this close in the House loony bin, I think this bill has real trouble in the Senate.
I just found a PDF version on the web site of the Government Printing Office. It runs 1050 pages.
Did they pass the 300-page amendment that was introduced early this morning?
There is a large percentage of America that is asleep. $6.00 gasoline will wake the sheep up.
This, I pray, will not pass the Senate.
I stay snapped in, and my powder stays cool, and dry encased in 5.56mm brass. More rounds than I can carry.
No it didn't. It now heads to the Senate, which has been more rational than the House. If the Senate passes the bill with any amendments, the House must vote again (either to agree to the Senate amendments or for convening a conference committee). If this bill becomes law, and nobody resists such a law, then we're dead.
Call him. If I see him at the Monmouth County Fair this summer I am going rip him and his supporters at their booth!
