Regardless of whatever plastic surgery he had, he had his skin bleached for the same reason he wore a glove on one hand. He had the disease VITILIGO. There is no known cure. Eventually your only choice is to live with it, wear makeup all the time, or have your skin bleached. He chose the latter. It's not at all uncommon.

But if you needed to be there right now, you’d probably appreciate the fact that they’ve got the perimeter roped off to prevent hundreds of crazed fans and “journalists” from swarming in and creating pandemonium in the ER, preventing you and all the other patients from getting the medical care they need.
