The title of this thread is my now my motto to Iranians on twitter.

Americans don't need Obama to speak for them, we're free & speak for ourselves

We have started using #FreeIran as a discussion to lend support and advise, particularly to those who want to throw off Islamic rule entirely.

Please do a search on it and save it and use it accordingly.

Thanks for those kind words. They are really too kind. I'm just trying to help those folks, who are on the line and risking all, including their lives, for liberty.

Their fight for liberty is our fight. Their victory is our victory...not for the least of which it will show Obama for exactly what he is.

God's speed.

We're all in this fight together. Each pulling at different times in the harness that fits and suits them.

Together, we can help those folks...and their victory becomes our victory as the principles of liberty are advanced and those which would deter or smother it are squelched.

Do you hear that Barry?

This is a foretaste of what will soon happen here.

And we all know the reason for that Marxist meat puppet’s silence - he approves of the tyranny of the mullahs and of Iran’s current rulers. He can’t bring himself to advocate on the side of freedom. Bush, for all his faults, at least did that.

Obama (may his name be cursed) has thrown an entire people under the bus, and their blood is on his hands as well.

A due diligence question:
Much of Iran doesn’t want Achmadinijad and didn’t vote for him, but what indications are there that the Iranian people protesting the fixed election don’t want to continue the anti-American, anti-Semitic Islamic Republic’s support of terrorists and aggressive nuclear program, only doing it with a leader a little less blatant about it and so perhaps all the more dangerous to the West?

They have been shouting "Death to the Dictator" and "Death to Khamenei" today. That goes beyond the puppet rulers right to the Ayatollah.

Also, many are carrying the older, pre-Islamic revolution flag...not the Islamic flag of the revolution.

I have seen signs calling for "Regime Change", not just new voters.

I have read and conversed with Iranians on Twitter who are calling their current leaders Arabic and Islamic dogs.

I believe this thing is outrunning the "candidates". The people of Iran want freedom, not another puppet to tyranical Islamic rule.

I believe we could see the birth or republicanism in Iran, but it may very possibly be very bloody. The Basij and Revoultionary Guard are not likely to go quietly.

The key is, "What will the regular Army do? And will they (say, like Washington) be willing to create a Republic?

One thing is sure...it is Bush's engagement, support of liberty, and policies that are driving this. Still bearing fruit. Obama is trying like crazy to spin this to his advantage, but we cannot let him lie and try and steal it. His policies would have made this impossible...just as they would have made Iraq impossible.

An excellent question. Nothing I have read or heard about the attitudes of the moslems in Iran gives me any indication that they are any different than the moslem enablers of moslem terrorists everywhere.

They danced in the streets everywhere in Iran after 9/11...just as they did in every moslem (and some Christian) country in the world.

So my inclination is to believe that whichever side wins out in Iran, the main goal of Islam (conversion through conquest) will still be the principal controlling philosophy in Tehran.

In this case, IMHO, the enemy of my enemy is my enemy....

So, where do I stand on this whole situation?

Well, there is no doubt the gutless marxist scum in the WH has no value to this discusion, no matter what he says or does.

So, let's support our enemies in the streets against their current leaders. Quite frankly, the more violent it gets, the fewer we'll have to deal with a few years down the line.

Because make no mistake about it, we will have to deal with them sometime in the future. Whether it is before, or after, the chicoms is the only question.

Although, before we deal with the moslems or the chicoms, most likely we will first be engaged with the forces of evil within our own country. If we don't stop this accelerating headlong plunge into a "hard" tyranny, we won't care about our external enemies.....It won't matter whether the molems or the chicoms subsequently win or not.

There is an "axis of evil" in the world. It's just that GB had it wrong. It is:

  1. The moslem world;
  2. The chicoms; and,
  3. The obamacron marxists.

For our Nation to survive as the Founders intended, all three of these forces of evil must be contained or eliminated.

A Supreme Leader Loses His Aura as Iranians Flock to the Streets

By ROGER COHEN
Published: June 20, 2009

TEHRAN — The Iranian police commander, in green uniform, walked up Komak Hospital Alley with arms raised and his small unit at his side. “I swear to God,” he shouted at the protesters facing him, “I have children, I have a wife, I don’t want to beat people. Please go home.”

A man at my side threw a rock at him. The commander, unflinching, continued to plead. There were chants of “Join us! Join us!” The unit retreated toward Revolution Street, where vast crowds eddied back and forth confronted by baton-wielding Basij militia and black-clad riot police officers on motorbikes.

Dark smoke billowed over this vast city in the late afternoon. Motorbikes were set on fire, sending bursts of bright flame skyward. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader, had used his Friday sermon to declare high noon in Tehran, warning of “bloodshed and chaos” if protests over a disputed election persisted.

He got both on Saturday — and saw the hitherto sacrosanct authority of his office challenged as never before since the 1979 revolution birthed the Islamic Republic and conceived for it a leadership post standing at the very flank of the Prophet. A multitude of Iranians took their fight through a holy breach on Saturday from which there appears to be scant turning back.

Latest from Iran

Natural gas lines of Basij Head quarter was set on fire after Basijie's locked themselves inside . at 0:05 you can see the whole building exploded at least 5 from Basijies were killed you can see fire in different parts of city location : Eastern Tehran

“To the people of Iran: You are rich in culture and talent. You have a right to live under a government that listens to your wishes, respects your talents, and allows you to build better lives for your families. Unfortunately, your government denies you these opportunities, and threatens the peace and stability of your neighbors. So we call on the regime in Tehran to heed your will, and to make itself accountable to you. The day will come when the people of Iran have a government that embraces liberty and justice, and Iran joins the community of free nations. And when that good day comes, you will have no better friend than the United States of America.” President George W. Bush, January 13, 2008.

If only the current occupant of the White House had such clarity of courage and conviction to speak out as President Bush did a year and a half ago now.

Amen for what GW said....and prayers going up for those brave souls who are trying to change things in a dangerous world.

...while our coward of a current president sits in his air conditioned office and wrings his hands...or sits on them, more than likely, because he is in the pocket of the current dictatorship!
