Outspoken Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann says she's so worried that information from next year's national census will be abused that she will refuse to fill out anything more than the number of people in her household.
In an interview Wednesday morning with The Washington Times "America's Morning News," Mrs. Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, said the questions have become "very intricate, very personal" and she also fears ACORN, the community organizing group that came under fire for its voter registration efforts last year, will be part of the Census Bureau's door-to-door information collection efforts.

Shelly Lowe, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Census Bureau, said Mrs. Bachmann is "misreading" the law.

Alot of the population in the 1770’s lived on farms, as they were basically self-supporting.
You are right. We don’t have anything concrete that says he is legally able to hold the office of POTUS. He wasn’t vetted.

Declaration To Make To Census Takers
"I hereby affirm that the provisions of Title 13 "requiring" me to disclose my race, personal financial data, birthdate, or any other personal, private information to the Bureau of the Census, an agency of the United States government; constitutes an unreasonable, unwarranted search of my person, house, papers, and/or effects; and a governmental invasion of the sanctity of my home and the privacies of life. As such, these provisions violate the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution, and are thus wholly void and I am not bound to obey them.
I have completed the only those sections of the Census form pertaining to the Constitutionally-mandated actual enumeration, as follows:
1. The actual number of people living at the address printed on the form, excluding untaxed Native Americans;
2. Age of each person in accordance with US Const. Amendment XIV, Section 2.
3. Sex of each person, in accordance with US Const. Amendment XIV, Section 2.
I have thus fulfilled my obligation to the attainment of the actual enumeration of the populace of the United States.
Any fine or other sanction that is levied by any office or organization stemming from the unconstitutional provisions of Title 13 in connection with my response to this or any other Census-related questioning will be challenged in a court of law."
I plan to hand the Obama Brownshirt, um I mean census taker, a signed hardcopy of the declaration when they come to my door to collect the answers to questions I left blank on the form that I send in.
Exactly! Under ‘penalties of perjury’, just like when one signs the 1040 form.
Census folks are between a rock and a hard place.
ANY info that they divulge about you that has your name attached to it is a violation of their oath (and the relevant USC’s), and they are subject to fine or imprisonment or both.
So as I read it, the most they could say is “Today SOMEBODY UNNAMED refused to answer all my questions...”
I just fill the form with BS answers especially regarding my race and income. All the US Constitution requires in a census is a counting of noses nothing more.

The fine has indeed been increased to $5G...
10) What are the penalties if I do not respond to the survey?
Both Title 13 and Title 18, United States Code, provide for monetary penalties for failure
to respond. Title 18, U.S.C., Section 3551, et seq., the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984,
establishes uniform penalties for all federal crimes. Title 13 U.S.C., Section 221, makes
it a misdemeanor to refuse or willfully neglect to complete the questionnaire or answer
questions posed by census takers and imposes a fine of not more than $100. This fine is
changed by the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984 from $100 to not more than $5,000.
The Census Bureau is not a prosecuting agency. Failure to provide information is not
likely to result in a fine. The Census Bureau staff work to achieve cooperation and high
response rates by helping the public understand that responding to the ACS is a matter
of civic responsibility, and prefers to encourage participation in this manner rather than
prosecution.
I was born and raised in that district. Since moved across the river to God's country, Wisconsin. She makes me want to move back.
Last time I got a form that aside from the basics had a buch of race and 'ethnic identity' questions. I gave them the basics I left them all the race/ethnicity questions blank. I never heard back from them.
Before you say/type another word on the subject, read this post and study the linked images.
At this point, sufficient legal vetting has occurred. Insofar as circumstances, doubt & irregularities abound, none have provided compelling legal proof of ineligibility. (Don't get me wrong. There's a difference between supporting the !@#$% and acknowledging that one's opposition may actually have the upper hand in the dispute.)
We now return to our previously scheduled thread...
If you DON'T answer all the questions, and are duly fined, that may very well give you "standing" to challenge BHO's eligibility (per the above blather) to compel you to answer those extra-Constitutional 4th-Amendment-violating questions.
lol we did too we moved to St. Croix county and bought some acreage to get out of the looney liberal hold on Minnesota. Pawlenty though quite a guy I like him too.
Except from your link:

Considering the cost of ObamaCare, they might just take the opportunity to extract whatever cash they can.

Eric Holder will not fine or imprison any ACORN census takers for any violations (and with ACORN involved, you can count on census violations being legion). He wouldn't prosecute the Black Panthers for voter intimidation, so you can bet ACORN and the White House will be able to do whatever they please with the census data with no penalty.
Very insightful.
“Palin/Bachmann 2012”
Amen - I felt the shudder from Iran and N.Korea
The force is strong here.

Wouldn't surprise me. Fascists are in charge.
