Let's face, she's no Carla Bruni and at least for today had the good sense to show less skin. She looks like a man and it is that much more obvious when standing next to a truly feminine woman.

“Change the course of a century?”

He's gonna fix that and change it back to the way it was

Peggy is perhaps coming back to her senses. She has been pummeled by many who appreciated her earlier work.

In a year she will say she was duped.

Too late Peggy. We don’t care anymore. Unlike those at Normandy, you didn’t answer the bell.

There are a lot of people like that nowadays. It won't go well for them when the pendulum swings (quickly?) back.

“Has any commentator anywhere picked up on the fact that when Obama, in Cairo, referenced religious freedom for muslims, the only concrete expression was the “right of women to wear the hajib”?

That’s a direct slap at France and Turkey, who do not allow the headress in their public schools.

Criticizing the secularists for this minor infraction, while remaining silent about beheadings, imprisonmentts and TORTURE.

As a Christian, I want to apologize to secularists everywhere for our lame President. “

I read one article about just that. Believe it was a column in the UK Telegraph. Scathing.

This is typical of leftists though. They are willing to sacrifice untold lives for their utopia. In this case what’s a few women when you want to turn the West into ground zero.

Then you can build your utopia.

Excellent missing man formation. Well done.

from another AF vet, I believe those Hornet drivers would say thanks. Pretty sure the American flight were FA-18's aka "grey planes" (USN or Marine)

The Queen has previously been invited to all the other significant D-Day ceremonies.

It's rumored they didn't want her to be the focus over all the other dignitaries there..

But Gordon Brown is taking the heat for this in England because it's believed he should have seen to it before hand Queen Elizabeth received an invite.

I think the belt thing is her trying to set a fashion trend like the Jackie pill box hats but I haven’t seen anyone else besides that character Erkel? wearing his pants up to his armpits.

Don’t know where TOTUS and his Fashion Faux Pas are headed this afternoon. Surely there is a Paris mosque he hasn’t yet graced with his stocking feet.

I came in late to the thread and had to mute the the tv as Obama was speaking, because I just can’t stand that man. I’ve even tried listening and not watching, because seeing him with his nose in the air, moving his head back and forth as if he’s watching a tennis match, is distrubing...and some have suggested not watching is better...but I still just can’t stand his voice and the way he pronounces wordssssss (his damn s’s)...

But I want to Thank You for putting yourself in harms way to translate what is being said. It is much better (and more humorous) coming from you all.

Even the fabric of her dress is cheap - in looks, probably not in price.

Utterly stupid. The Queen absolutely should have been there.

For those who need it, and that’s probably all of us, Real Clear Politics has President Reagan’s Boys of Pointe du Hoc speech. Just watched. Was like a hot shower and shave that wipes away a hard unpleasant day.

The missing man formation brought more emotion in that few seconds than the entirety of O’s speechifying.

Well put.
