I watched all the speeches and O was the only one.
The others had notes, and Harper of Canada spoke alternately in French and English. Very well done.
O clearly was not connected to the words, no matter how many tingles he brings to msnbc-ers.

But thanks to all of you here. I try to never listen to Obama speak. Sometimes I’ll listen on a foreign policy issue as he is coached for it. But not today.
And it seems I did the right thing. I’m still trying to get Sarkozy’s speech which many here say was awesome on CSPAN.
And don’t forget bad America refused to allow a Florida woman to take her driver’s license picture with only her eyes showing from behind her hijab.
Why didn’t she just go to a different college where she would have felt “more at home?”
It's very telling that Obama never bothered to find out more about his uncle's WWII experiences until his version of the story was questioned by the media.
My uncle who served in WWII died at the age of 48, when I was in highschool. I'd give my eyeteeth now to have him back and be able to talk to him about his Army service overseas.
Why is she wearing white on an occasion like this?
