How did that happen with the Queen? What was the problem with an invite? I still don’t understand.

But thanks to all of you here. I try to never listen to Obama speak. Sometimes I’ll listen on a foreign policy issue as he is coached for it. But not today.

And it seems I did the right thing. I’m still trying to get Sarkozy’s speech which many here say was awesome on CSPAN.

The Queen has previously been invited to all the other significant D-Day ceremonies.

It's rumored they didn't want her to be the focus over all the other dignitaries there..

But Gordon Brown is taking the heat for this in England because it's believed he should have seen to it before hand Queen Elizabeth received an invite.

After a busy, long day, I’m catching up with my reading. I too refuse to listen to this man. I listen with FR or by sound bites from a credible news source. For some reason I need to be with people who confirm my feelings. So many around me are BO bots.
