Yup. Curious how the MSM has kept this story to a minimum.

The day before the bomb threat:

Brazil Detains Suspected al-Qaeda Member

A suspected al-Qaeda member has been taken into custody by Brazilian authorities in a case shrouded in secrecy, police said Tuesday.

MSM doesn’t want anything interfering with their messiah’s “peace in our time” trip to the middle-east.

IFREMER made many trips to the Titanic’s hulk, which is about 2.5 miles down.

I was on the KLM flight from San Paulo to Amsterdam at roughly the same time and similar route and didn’t experience ANY turbulence on the flight... (I was supposed to be on the AF flight but couldn’t get a seat). When I arrived in AMS and saw it on CNN, my first thought(after calling wife and kids) was something brought it down (not the weather) - either a bad part from a company that assembles planes in many countries or from something blowing it apart...

“Do you trust the press to report it?”

The one thing I’d be the house on is that the press can’t wait to report it!

....TWA all over again....

No, this time the plane exploded over 12 thousand feet of water and there will be no evidence to reconstruct

From what I've read, Pam Am 103--because it was delayed one hour in regards to departure time due to air traffic conditions at London Heathrow Airport--blew up over Lockerbe instead of blowing up over the ocean. If that flight had taken off on time it would have blown up over the ocean just like when Air India Flight 182 blew up over the Atlantic in June 1985.

As of now, the first thing we have to find out is recovering the flight data recorders from Air France 447. That data is VITALLY important because if the FDR's suddenly stop recording we have to seriously start considering the possibility of a terrorist bomb, because when Pan Am 103 exploded the FDR's immediately stopped recording voice and flight data. In the Korea Air Lines 007 shootdown, analysis of the flight data recorders showed that even after the plane took a missile hit the FDR's continued to record for quite some time until the damage from the missile impact finally cut off electrical flow to the FDR's.

“We shared a waiting area with an Air France flight from Seattle to Paris last year- I was surprised at how many Arabic looking passengers boarded and that a few of their gate staff also appeared Arabic.”

Yes, France has a high population of Arabs, mostly Algerians. They have a huge Algerian community there, even though Algeria was once taken over by the french & Algeria went to war with them for its independence back in the 40’s, I think. If you recall, there were riots and burning of cars in France awhile back, and it was among that Algerian community in France where that was happening. I too flew Air France recently and had an Algerian flight attendant (Paris to Atlanta flight).

Did you hear the reports about people aboard the flight from Brazil calling family in France during the last few minutes before hitting the ocean?

France also has a substantial Lebanese population. I worked with a french engineer from Lebanon who talked about being engaged to a Danish girl. Silly me, It never occurred to me that she was also a Muslim Lebanese.

Maybe a news blackout on who is claiming credit for it until authorities can check it out.

Last thing the travel industry needs right now is terror in the sky right before summer vacations.

JMHO.

“If TV hadn’t caught the second plane hit the World Trade Center on 9-11-01 we would all still be believing that a white middle aged pilot had lost control or had a nervous breakdown or was depressed or it was really the center fuel tanks (over Long Island), bla, bla, bla...”

I live about 2 miles away from the small airport where Atta and the other terrorist went to flight school & practiced prior to 9/11. I drive past it several times every day, and not a day goes by that I don’t get a feeling of anger and disgust in the pit of my stomach, just thinking about it. Just the fact that sinister people are out there trying to do similar things every day, and we’re not aware of it at all.

France has a substantial Lebanese population because until the start of the Lebanese civil war in 1974, Beirut was a huge resort destination for French citizens and many Lebanese of Christian faith had relatives that lived in France. Renault chairman Carlos Ghosn is of Lebanese descent, as are many French citizens nowadays.

Air France pilots are the best in the world.

I would have thought radar would have given them some warning. But a lack of a May Day when they hit this kind of weather is concerning.

Wonder what the passenger list looked like.

If it was a bomb, some group would have already claimed responsibility for it by now.

Not if they had more plans in the works and didn't want their "work" interrupted.
