U.S. Releases Secret List of Nuclear Sites Accidentally
NYT ^ | June 2, 2009 | WILLIAM J. BROAD

Posted on 06/02/2009 6:23:20 PM PDT by balls

The federal government mistakenly made public a 266-page report, its pages marked “highly confidential,” that gives detailed information about hundreds of the nation’s civilian nuclear sites and programs, including maps showing the precise locations of stockpiles of fuel for nuclear weapons.

The publication of the document was revealed Monday in an on-line newsletter devoted to issues of federal secrecy. That publicity set off a debate among nuclear experts about what dangers, if any, the disclosures posed. It also prompted a flurry of investigations in Washington into why the document was made public.

On Tuesday evening, after inquiries from The New York Times, the document was withdrawn from a Government Printing Office Web site.

...

President Obama sent the document to Congress on May 5 for Congressional review and possible revision, and the Government Printing Office subsequently posted the draft declaration on its web site.

The real accident, and the one for which this nation is paying dearly, is Hussein Sr.’s failure to properly use a condom.

my gut feel is that when there is a disclosure of classified, it is intentional for whatever reason.

Did anyone here actually read the article??? I don't think so. Per the article, The information, considered sensitive but not classified, was assembled for transmission later this year to the International Atomic Energy Agency as part of a process by which the United States is opening itself up to stricter inspections in hopes that foreign countries, especially Iran and other states believed to be clandestinely developing nuclear arms, will do likewise.

I can assure you the the US understands that if it is going to the UN yo might as well give it away.

Anyone know that google archive site so we can all get a look-see? I’d sure like to know where all the little yellow smilies are on the map so when I do bug out I’ll know what to avoid.

There is nothing accidental about this. This info has been kept confidential for years and it's no coincidence that the Hate America regime in Washington released it "accidently." I knew that this sort "accident" would occur with this regime. It's how they plan on compromising the security of America in the future. Expect even more egregious "accidental" releases of America's secrets by the traitors in Washington.

This is the Obama Regime's opening salvo against the nuclear industry in our country and against the nuclear weapons that we need to protect America .

What I am about to suggest is going to sound very “tin-foilish”; but, there are certain groups in this country that would find a list like that very helpful. Let’s just say it makes it very convenient for them. I think the FBI should be crawling all over this.

By the way, I don’t think that Black Muslim terrorist, that shot those recruiters, was acting alone either.
