Even dead veterans are still veterans, aren’t they? There seems like a lot of overlap.
17,600 Veterans Rest here.
We should honor our veterans every day.
If Bush would have made this mistake, all hell would have broken loose.
It’s not that big of a deal, really, but Obama gets a total pass. Not a mention of it by the MSM.
God Bless all who have given their lives to protect ours, and prayers of gratitude and safety for those vigilent warriors who stand up to shield us from our enemies.
Here's the new list that is now up on my site and which I will post with the descriptiojn in the future:
From Concord, to Bunker Hill, to Trenton, to Lake Champlain, to Valley Forge, to Cowpens, to Yorktown...to Tripoli...to Ft. Mieg, to Lake Erie, to Horseshoe Bend, to Chippewa and to New Orleans... to The Alamo, San Jacinto, Buena Vista, Palo Alto, Monterrey and the Halls of Montezuma...to Bull Run (twice), Antietam, Fredericksburg, Shiloh, Vicksburg, The Wilderness, Gettysburg, Atlanta and Appomattox...to Manila Bay, Guantanamo Bay, to Santiago and San Juan Hill...to Chateau Thierry and the Argonne Forest...to Pearl Harbor, North Africa, Sicily, Italy, to Normandy, Luxembourg, to islands and atolls throughout the Pacific, Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, to the Philippines...to Seoul, Pusan, Inchon, Chosin, Chipyoongi, Pork Chop Hill and throughout Korea...to Ia Drang, Khe Sahn, Dak To, Hue, Kim Son, Hamburger Hill, "Downtown" Hanoi, An Loc and all across South Vietnam into Cambodia and Laos...to Granada and Panama

Did Bambi even issue a proclamation for today?
I live near a National Cemetery and at the ceremony, they said they were going to read some “words from the President’s proclamation” and all they read was a statement saying that Congress had voted to honor Memorial Day by everyone pausing at 3:00 pm to “honor it in whatever way they wanted” (whatever that means).
Everybody else - our Senators, etc. - sent letters written for the occasion. Obviously, it’s no big deal and they weren’t deathless pieces of literature, but at least it was a gesture of respect.
I have that exact painting on my home office wall.
I recall the same thing...
“What does it take to qualify as an Obama speech writer?”
You have to be able to text the TOTUS with “I inherited this problem from Bush” at least 15 times in 30 seconds.
I believe you are correct about this. Thanks for your clarification
0’s complete lack of respect for this country, its traditions and its values, is obvious to eeryone, even his supporters who relish his japing of America.
Is it true that he and mad Michelle are removing portraits of Presidents from the White House and replacing them with abstract art?
If true, this is highly symbolic of their desire to destroy this nation.
Thank you for posting those pictures, Jeff. They are very moving and my eyes are suddenly full of tears. :)
No, it isn’t.
No, there aren’t.
No, we don’t.
Yes, they are.
IMHO, he plays fast and loose with everything. He could be worried about veterans who are Oath Keepers. The recently withdrawn Homeland Security advisory about veterans being potential right wing terrorists comes to mind. They know how the majority of the active duty military and veterans vote.
The Oath, per se, has no expiration date, just the service agreement.
