There is one thing that can be said of President Obama with certainty -- his election has had a phenomenal effect on gun sales.
Across the country, ammunition prices are soaring and many guns are in short supply as weapons fly off the shelves at stores. This is a telling economic indicator about consumer confidence as many Americans stock up for fear that the end is nigh. It's also a logical reaction to gun-owner fears that Democrats will implement far-reaching new gun controls. There is cause for concern. Leaders in the Obama administration and Congress have stated that they plan to limit what guns Americans can buy and that guns should be registered. . . . .

I think the 2000 elections taught Democrats that gun control legislation is not a good idea. Even Pelosi has said it’s now on the back burner.
At this point, I’m thankful for Reagan Democrats & blue dog Democrats. They may save our bacon on the 2nd amendment issue.

To some extent, the fact that Dem congresscritters love keeping their seats more than their principles might bode well for 2nd Amendment advocates. It seems lately gun control is a bigger hot-button issue than usual.
0’s people hate gun owning citizens. We are their enemy. Fascists hate sharing power. 0’s assault on the 2nd Amendment is coming.
“We don’t want to take your guns, we just want them registered.” Yeah, they want them registered so they know where to find you when they decide the really do want to take your guns after all.
But of course, among this crowd it’s probably not necessary for me to post that.
No kidding. Small arms rounds are nearly impossible to find and that's driving up the prices. I just paid $50 for a box of .45s!

I’m thinking thats the biggest reason sales are through the roof. People think they need the tools to stop it.
The elites know that guns are the final line in the sand that they cross only when they’re ready to be shot at.
They’ll usurp as much power as they can before attempting that one.
They’ll send others to do their bidding, and you know it.
The idea is to see ‘em coming, avoid them, and go after who sent them.
I was in Las Vegas Discount Firearms yesterday, one of the salsemen said business has slowed a bit, said some people aren’t buying guns because they can’t get ammo for them

If that was the case, then why didn’t they repeal the ban right then and there...
That ban should have not lasted past the first vote after that Congress was seated.
oh, they want to do it, it’s in their core ideology,
