I found the link from post #1 to be very informative.
We are discovering more and more ‘facts’ about the Earth every day.
For the record ... I have seen MANY scientific minded people ... who have a lot more patience than I ... try to show you the real facts and I have seen how you stick your fingers in your ears and go lalalalala. It is my opinion that I might have a better chance of teaching calculus to my cat than getting thru to you.
I usually just laugh at your posts and shake my head at your display of abject ignorance ... however I got into it face to face this weekend with a man made global warmist so my tolerance level was low and I responded to your posts. Hey GG, I found another one of those Temple of Darwin fanatics on FR. Apparently he believes in a flat earth, feels a deep connection with the Taliban, has the largest collection of Darwin idols on the planet, and poors milk over each and every one of them three times a day while genuflect in the direction of the Galápagos Islands.
But given your obvious lack of analytical skills ... I will repeat what I said in simpler terms I said in post 25 which I suppose you are referring to ... that I consider flat earthers ... just like young earthers ... to be CRACKPOTS ... AND I said that the asinine views you present could only be driven by a religious fanaticism that rivals that of the Taliban.

Yep. And it's scientists (believers and non-believers alike) who are are using their God-given intelligence and powers of observation to discover those facts.

There are a growing number of scientists and medical doctors who have banded together to challenge the official dogma that HIV causes AIDS.
So here you BELIEVE what the "doctors and Scientists" say (I do too) ... so why is it that you believe them on that subject and not on geological / paleontology topics ? Don't you find that a little hypocritical ?

Could have been taken word for word from a flat earther talking to Columbus...all I know is how much we do NOT know...
Scientists are fallible, just like everyone else. I look into these matter and make my own determinations. Thus, I think the AIDS alarmists are completely fully of it—even though they carry the title of scientists and declare the debate over what cause AIDS “over”. I think the global warming crazoids are completely full of it too—even though they say their credentials are sufficient to cut off all scientific debate on the subject. And the biggest sham of all is being perpetrated by the Temple of Darwin fanatics...and wouldn’t ya know it, have declared the scientific debate over too!
I am not saying you should be absolutely convinced, but I would like to point out that in the biblical account, the "fountains of the deep" were "broken open" and caused the flood, though it also says it rained for forty days and nights (which would be a possible effect from great catastrophe and geological disturbance).
So while there may be much to criticize in "flood geology" theories, perhaps you should aquaint yourself with what such theories say before criticizing them, rather than the other way around.
