Charles Krauthammer opined on Special Report on Fox News about Nancy Pelosi.
Don’t be too sure. Pelosi has the power to defund the CIA and will use it.
A bureaucracy’s first priority is to preserve its existence. It’s second is to preserve the perks and benefits of its members.
National security is further down the list. When Nancy tells them to straighten up or lose some billions, they will.
I agree with him 100%. It is not a good idea to go to war with someone who can destroy you. I don’t believe that many house memeber would miss her much considering how much of a royal b* she comes off as. I’m feeling that Nancy’s list of friend is rapidly getting shorter.
I still can’t figure out why no one’s pointed out the most basic discrepancy:
AP put out a story today which said she was told about waterboarding back in 2003; yet last week, both they (the AP and Pelosi herself) confirmed she was privy to said technique and usage in September 2002. September 2002 is not 2003. So there’s a simple discrepancy right there.
She needed BO’s teleprompter.

It was that and more. Beck had Pelosi's testimony on earlier and for whatever reason (probably because it was painful to watch) had them terminate it.
Perhaps a bit of wishful thinking on my part but, I am wondering of she will survive this. This episode has exposed her true character for the whole world to see. Not a good thing for her. Could be a great thing for the nation if handled skilfully.

That list may no longer include the President of the United State (if it ever did). Which may account for some of Pelosi’s nervousness.
Rumor has it, at least here in the middle of the country, that O would prefer to have Hoyer in her chair, particularly since Hoyer is tight with Rahm.
Just like every other member of the House of Representatives...but she won't have any problem getting reelected in San Francissyco...but whether the 'Rats can hold on to the Majority in the House is another matter altogether!

Yeah, of course she has that power......btw, is that in the same logic trap as asserting she has “the power” to defund the Iraq war, the ongoing military anti/counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan, or the war on terrorism?
No, she won’t attempt a defunding of the CIA, not even she is that stupid, but hey, war is war, so they say. Here is an alternative to what you have put forth: She attempts a defund of the CIA and instead of the CIA being brought back into ‘line’, her actions to defund only add further flames to the fire and the ‘leaks’ continue unabated, something for which Leon Penetta canNOT control.
