Obama/Waxman push $3,100 per-family tax by Memorial Day!

Our sources are telling me that President Obama and Rep. Henry Waxman are pushing for a key vote on the Carbon Tax BEFORE Memorial Day -- a tax that studies show will cost each family $3,100 each and every year.
Last week, Obama met behind closed doors with House Democrats to pressure them to pass the Carbon Tax. Now, Waxman is even contemplating skipping the Subcommittee hearing on the $2 trillion Carbon Cap and Trade Tax and fast-tracking this new tax straight to his Energy and Commerce Committee.
Waxman wants this all done by the end of next week... and Team Obama is turning up the heat on key Democrats in the House to pressure quick passage of the Carbon Tax.

There's a reason Obama and Waxman are pulling out the stops to pressure Democrats to pass this tax through the Committee...
Obama, Waxman, Pelosi and the gang fear that any delays could kill their precious plan to "save the planet" and give the government the power to tax and control the air!
That's because even some Democrats are now getting nervous about imposing such a large tax at a time when the economy is struggling. Reports indicate this new tax could cost the average American over $3,000 every year and result in 7 million lost jobs!
And the American people overwhelmingly do NOT want the Carbon Tax (by a 2-to-1 margin according to Pew Research).

He’s a DemonRat, of course he’s mentally ill.
Oh, I can afford this tax (providing my job doesn’t go away), but I do worry a lot about the little people. The people that barely get by. They will have to soon choose between food and heating, between driving a car to work or buying clothes.
It is those people that I worry about.
...and I do wonder why Obama and the Democrats feel the need to punish them so harshly - for they are only trying to get by.

More details, please. Do we any idea exactly how this tax money goes from our wallets to the federal wallet? Will it be a lump sum payment, do you suppose, or a sneak withdrawal from paychecks every month?
It will have a difficult time in the Senate.

There are no colorful metaphors to aptly describe such destructive and perplexing behaviour. I can only think...Evil....thats it, which I guess is a proper assumption.
for utility bills it will go on your bill as an added cost to them
for things like airplane travel, perhaps added onto the ticket price. also maybe added onto gasoline tax
I cannot even comprehend how obama and the democrats will tax everything that emits or needs carbon to operate. But oh hey, anyone who makes less than $75 K will probably get a big check every month from the govt to compensate them. so it will be another form of wealth transfer
The zero’s plan is to tax everyone, but to give it back to the low income people and keep it from everyone else. Half or more of your energy bill will go directly into someone else’s pocket. They will get that government check every month, guaranteeing another 100 million Rat voters.
Actually “$3,100 per family tax” should be the only phrase Republicans use when describing this crap.
Thanks. That would probably include our home heating oil, which is already a major expense and the reason why we keep our house at 60 degrees through our winter.
