Hadrosaur Soft Tissues Another Blow to Long-Ages Myth
by Brian Thomas, M.S.*
Recently-discovered dinosaur soft tissues, and even blood cells, represent some of the biggest hurdles for long-age evolutionary belief. Soft tissue was found in the femur of a large Tyrannosaurus rex about a decade ago, and more was discovered in another T. rex a few years later. And recently, soft tissues with proteins were found in a hadrosaur from Montana...

==It is one of the many mysteries of scripture that do not require the invention of a pseudo Sun
No need to invent a pseudo Sun. God said “let there be light” and there was light on Earth, and three evenings and mornings on Earth, before the Sun was ever created. This not some hypothetical argument, it is included in the historical account of creation delivered by God to man in His Word.
“Let there be light” is the first step of creation. “Let there be light” was not described as a fixed light source in close proximity to the Earth that would act exactly like the Sun for three days while God was waiting to create the Sun.
Light exists throughout our massive universe, emitted from the Star we circle, from stars that shone many hundreds of millions of years ago whose light is just now reaching us, from the galaxy that our Star is part of as it orbits the galactic core.
Now what force could move the Sun around the Earth while leaving the Earth motionless?
Einstein clearly declined to negate geocentrism, allmendream. It's right there in black and white, upthread a ways. The quotes are even sourced.
Some pretty heady company is in agreement with the notion, too, so your dismissal of it all as somehow magical, mystical thinking is surprisingly limited. You're unwilling to entertain ideas that run contrary to your current worldview.
That's not a tricorder being thrust into your pocket, that's the dead hand of The Temple of Darwinism taking up collections to fund the hunt for evolved life on Mars, Titan, etc.
The Sun circling the Earth contradicts the reality of the universal gravitational attraction of mass.
"Let there be light" rules out nothing but light, allmendream. The star we know as the Sun did not exist at that moment, according to the Genesis account of the Bible. According to Genesis, stars came later, too. How much of Genesis are you going to toss out, before you're completely satisfied?
It sounds as if you take issue with the Biblical account. I will not reject it; I'm a Christian. You say you are Christian, too, but constant attempts at discrediting Genesis strike me as rather oppositional. Just being honest.
Well, since you seem unwilling to do so, I guess I'm going to have to spend some time searching the web for further supporting documentation for those nice, sourced quotes from esteemed scientific authorities, who declined to rule out geocentrism.
It is getting late on a weeknight, though, and so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow evening.
Oh my, your intellectual arguments are so convincing. You just bowl me over with all of your facts.
Not true. There are other ways to date rocks.
Let there be light is the first step of creation.”
Uh, no. Let’s read the first 3 verses of the Bible:
1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Light comes along after the heaven and earth have ben created.
(I’m not taking the Creationist side here, just pointing out what the Bible actually says.)
Well allmendream you have your ‘goo to you via the zoo’ and ape-to-man fantasy’s. I say that you worship those as reality in fact.
All they have is deception and strawmen. They will use any means available to silence their opposition.
It seems to me that the heaven He created is all of space, and the "earth" He created (without form and void) is all matter in space.
Next He "Let there be light". Day was then separated from night, the heavens were then separated from the Earth, and the seas were then separated from the land.
He then let the earth bring forth plants. (There was already light...) Next He placed the stars, the sun, the moon and the other lights in heaven. Then he created creatures and man.
Actually, the chronology of Genesis seems to be pretty consistent with our current scientific understanding, big bang and all...
I don't doubt there's "lots more where that came from".
If it was good, sound reasoning and data you'd only need one.
If it's psycological warfare, then you have to have constant repetitive reinforcement.
The first line is introductory not explanatory.
How could the Earth be formed in line 1 and still be without form and void in line 2?
Try to pay attention...circular logic, something you're intimately familiar with, is what's being debunked here.
Alinsky was a creationist?
One of the points often raised by doubters of Evolution is the circular logic that can be used in dating: We know T. Rex is 100 million years old, because we find the fossils in rocks which are 100 million years old. And we know these rocks are 100 million years old, because they contain T. Rex fossils. To a certain extent, if the animal is found not to be quite so old, then it becomes difficult to make the case that the rocks are so very old.
It is you trying to use circular logic.
As I asked before and no one answered (and probably won't this time either):
If the dating of the rocks is bad, explain how they date rocks and why their methodology is bad. Then explain the correct methodology and how it would give a young age for the rocks. Do not use your CREtin magazine articles. Use legitimate scientific papers. The presence of the soft tissue is irrelevant. I'm talking about the rocks it is in.
GGG: LIKE I SAID...
tacticalogic: I know. Just shut up a and listen to what you have to say, and don’t be asking any questions.
Sigh...it never takes you very long to project. Dissent is something your side of the aisle is unable to tolerate.
How does pone profess to be a Christian and then make statements like “God has no place in Science class”?
