After resting for the better part of the day, I have finally gotten on line. As you said, the event was informative and fun. It was a pleasure and a privilege to meet all of you and put a face and name with the screen names. A special thanks to all of the organizers, moderators and speakers. Let's do it again!

Great pics - now I have some idea of what I missed! :-( My early Saturday meeting schedule ran way over, so by the time I got to the hotel it was a little after 6, and all had departed the meeting room. Sorry I missed everything. Well, I did manage to snag some nifty blank FR adhesive name tags...so I’m ready for the next one!!

What a great meeting we had! There was so much good information that we all learned and we have picked up a lot of new “tasks” to do here in Florida.

Thanks for everyone attending and thanks to our speakers who ALL did a fantastic job and as always we learn about the capabilities we have right within our group.

Now we need to continue the momentum, organize all of these talents and keep working to make a difference for our country.

JimRob called in during the meeting and it was really wonderful for everyone to hear JimRob talk to all of us.

Pix #'s 1, 2, 4, and 5 show our two guest speakers, Andrea King and Kristinn. #13 is Surfer who moderated the meetings. All did a terrific job.

Thanks also to committee member Bob Ireland who did loads of the visual arts and informative comments on the convention thread. Also to The Right Stuff who pitched in when and where needed and who had another job which was quite delightful, LOL, manning the refreshment center in the meeting room!

In the sixth photo down, MinuteGal presents "The Duke" with his winner's prize of a GI Joe Bear who sings "God Bless the USA".

In #7, Bushbacker waves his Booby Prize......a genuine and legal one-dollar bill with the face of another conservative Duke, John Wayne, portrayed in the center of the bill. Bless his memory.

#8 shows 3D-Joy holding the GI Joe Bear and a sign worth a million words.

Hey, guys and dolls, if you see your face above, let the folks know....don't be shy. You are all LEADERS as evinced by your attendence at this convention.

So glad we were able to attend. The speakers were very informative and the lively debates we had are encouraging. Hat’s off to Roos_Girl and MinuteGal for putting on such a wonderful get together. And to Surfer for moderating such a room full of non-moderates.

Now we need to get to work on turning out voters to defeat Congressional candidates who have lost their conservative bearings—if they ever had any! We can identify some close races and provide the much-needed push to get “our” candidates over-the-top. When we defeat several Democrats in 2010, we will undoubtedly gain more supporters in our quest to overhaul Congress or, as I like to put it, “Clean out the Stables!”

I’m delighted to have met each one of you and look forward to working together in the days, weeks, months, years ahead.
